okay this is a wee bit of a rant too but want some people to join in so i don't feel like a moody moo....

i think this show is scarying some people apparently labour is worse than being hit my a bus, hit my a metal chair and also being headbutted in the face and having your teeth knocked out? labour was nothnig to me and i was in labour for 13days and had terrible toothache afterwards lol...

anyways i feel as if the show is some what of a pregnancy rant, i don't want to be pregnant, i don't feel old enough to have a baby, etc etc

if i was pregnant i would be sooo quiet and just soooooo over the moon to be pregnant, wish would show some women who were trying to get pregnant a long time and had to go through fertility treatment....

maybe i am just jealous which i am but god i sometimes hate that people moan about things they should be grateful for, i would happily take any amount of pain to just get pregnant

I watched it and ranted so badly OH left the room! I didn't think it was very fair the way they implied that if you were an older Mum then it was through choice. I am so glad they showed the 46 year old lady who was carrying IVF twins after 12 yrs TTC though; that made the programme worth seeing for me.

yeah same, i am glad seen that bit i don't like how they made it seem like old mums will have lots of problems i know many women in thier middle to late 40's having happy and healthy babies okay some of the mum's are mega tired but then i am in my 20's and mega tired lol

Oh crap, did I miss it?
I didn't think it was on for a few weeks :dohh:

Can I find it online somewhere?

:flower: x x xx

Oooh, I don't know - it is sure to be repeated at some point though. What I didn't like about it is it seemed to imply that older Parents were so through of choice. Only right at the end did it mention a lady who was pg at 46 and had been ttc 12 years! Then slightly redemmed itself! I just wanted to scream at Cherry and tell her that I personally have been TTC since I was 32 and the way things are going I'll still be trying at 42 and may never be a mom - same as loads of other ladies. She seemed quite immature to me and inexperienced. I accept I may just be being a jealous bitch though!

yeah was on last night at 9pm:

no i agree me and OH thought she was immature and the show could have shown some people who actually struggled

I watched it

I agree she is definatley immature!
I didn't like her, but I hate the colloquial phrases "Up the duff", "Preggers" etc so as soon as she said that I was like err you knob :growlmad:
And as a 'young trying to be mum' I felt a bit like she would look down her nose at me. I'm 21, OH is 23 and we're going to try with IVF . . . .

:flower: x x x

i agree hate those terms too but maybe i'll change my mind once i am lol

I got round to watching it all yesterday.

I wasn't particularly impressed by her attitude towards her pregnancy or older/younger women TTC, although she did seem to grow up a bit by the end of the programme.

The water birth was amazing, I must admit I welled up when the baby was born.

The career woman shocked me, wow!

I just hope that Cherry realises how lucky she is! :flower:
