anyone else WTT til Christmas (Dec/New Years)

This is making me laugh, lol. How funny.

I work at a bank and I'm constantly checking people's ID's and seeing their birthdays, and I always ask if they liked their birthday growing up. I especially always ask the Christmas babies, as I wouldn't mind having one and would make it a point to have a separate celebration for their birthday and Christmas. Most people seem to be okay with that. I really would love a February baby... I don't know why, I just really like February. :p

hahaha my best friend is a Dec 23rd baby and she HATES it. I believe it's because people by pass one or the other gift/celebration wise. Her OH makes sure to do 'em both up real big for her... But he's just a super special man regardless (can you tell I approve?). I would LOVE a February baby. All of my February friends are wonderful people. Whimsical and hopeless romantics the entire lot of them. OH is an April baby and another good friend is an April baby -- very strong personalities but good heads. Do you believe in horoscopes and astrology?

April is my favorite month! Wouldn't mind an April or May baby. :p Yes I do!
I'm very much a Libra lol. In almost every aspect.

My internet is taking a poo on me. :( Double posted on accident!

evil internet! OK this is waaaay too creepy (in a fun way!) I'm a Libra too. Turning 24 this coming Thursday. We SO have to be WTT/TTC/Bump Buddies.

I'll be 21 in three weeks! I definitely agree - we must be buddies. :D

My DP and I are planning to start trying in December, but I don't think I'll be ovulating until late December, so I'm trying to convince her to let us start in late November. I think it would be so cool to be able to announce the pregnancy to parents on Christmas, if it takes the first time that is.

Im a November and my OH is March. We had our wedding in July just so we had something to celebrate mid year as both of ours are quite close to xmas.

Its good in some respects- if you do want a BIG present then people can double up but then nothing to celebrate for aother 11 months :S

My friend is born on the 25th Dec and hates it.

I have been thinking about this same thing! My birthday is Dec 10 and my DH is Jan 10, so we are both very close to the holidays. I used to hate it when I was a kid, but I don't care anymore. People should just never ever give kids a dual gift -- so unfair :nope:

I was even considering skipping the month of March if I'm not pg by then to avoid it...but I'm not sure it is a big deal. Now I just LOVE the month of December!

The other thing to consider though is the fact that kids born in Nov/Dec often have more struggles in the early years of school because they are the youngest. Kids born in Jan/Feb have a huge advantage that way...but I was born in Dec and I did just fine, so who knows!

On another note -- I think I ovulated this weekend and I am so excited :happydance:

First cycle pill free, so hopefully it keeps up!

It's kind of like breeding the horses. We want foals born as close to Jan 1 as possible to give them the advantage of maturity when we start them as two and three year olds. Odd comparison, but I swear in my sleep deprived brain it works.

MORE BABY DUST TO ALL!

I'll start trying again in December, but I'm pretty sure I will have already ovulated by the time I start trying, so January seems more likely

I would love that. I'm a fall baby myself (I dream of having a baby in Dec/Jan/Feb though). I just really don't want to be heavily pregnant in the summertime! Lol I sweat so badly and am already extremely uncomfortable in the heat because I'm so Irish (really pale, red hair!) lol. So being huge in Fall/Winter would be ideal!

I was just thinking the same thing. If I get pregnant in January my third trimester will start in the middle of an Athens summer, which believe me is not even very bearable when you're not pregnant:dohh:. I'm not going to complain though, even though I have a bit of a preference I'd really love to have a baby any time of the year

welcome aboard! I'm just tickled pink I'll be in Canada for my second and third trimesters so I won't really have to worry about a horrendous summer. If I was pregnant here in Florida? God help me. I'd never make it.

We will be leaving on a Christmas Cruise on Dec 22 and won't be packing any BC! So excited to start the journey, it has been a long time coming. DH are just about to have out 7th wedding anniversary - I think we are finally ready to increase the size of our family!

I'm a bit annoyed though...I have had a consistent 21 day cycle since I went off the pill 8 months ago. This cycle was 10 days late though, which screws up all the charting I have been doing! So Frustrating!

Bring on Christmastime!!!!

oh now THAT would irritate me. I've been keeping extensive records for the last the years as far as dates etc. Welcome aboard and baby dust to you!

I know...what the heck! I have never been 10 days late...EVER...even took a HPT just to check. I hope my cycle gets back on track in time for December because I want to make sure we get it right within the first couple of months!

How are you going to make the next couple of months fly by? I have made myself a personal yoga challenge of 5 classes a week, which works out to 60 classes between now and December 22! Hopefully my hips will be nice and open by then...I have been to 50 classes since August 1 so I guess I am well on my way. I even have a chart to mark down my classes - I am charting all over the place. Haha...

I had that happen once after taking prednisone to help me conquer a round with acute bronchitis. DH and I had an "oops" moment around then too so when I was late I was CONVINCED! Nope. Just prednisone.

I train horses, am studying marine biology, am an animal right's advocate (especially captive and wild marine mammals, and wild horses/anti-horse slaughter), am an artist so between all of that I manage to keep myself insanely busy. I also practice yoga and am looking into tai chi as an additional bit of fitness fluff. Tai Chi because I'll have to stop yoga during pregnancy due to having a history of miscarriage :( So this will be my transition period.

That's a lot of things to keep you guys busy. I'm jealous!!
All I'm up to is finishing making my house into a home. Just bought a huge tv and couch for the living room, working on a desk and a new computer monitor and then internet. Not to mention I'm trying to lose some weight before we TTC, so am making out a fitness log all the way until the new year and if I don't do my exercises at least 5 days a week, then... idk... something bad will happen, lol! I refuse to wait to TTC if I'm not at my mini-goal by then, at the very least. I can deal with not showing until I'm a big further along if it means I get my baby sooner. :p

I really want to start classes in the upcoming year, as all classes have already started for this semester. I'm looking at just the online colleges to see if I could pick up something that I can do in my own time and pay for as I go along, so we'll see about that when we've got steady internet in the house! I need more things to do!! Work just isn't cutting it lol.

Hey, just noticed this thread. I'm WTT til January, so pretty much the same as you. :)

Don'tWorry: Ooooooooo love shopping to decorate! We're hoping to buy a bigger tract of land and build a custom log home and trust me, if/when that happens I'm going to go NUTS decorating! I really should be trying to lose weight... I am... Just the lazy way ;)

Fluffpuffin: hey hey!!! Welcome aboard! You're definitely in the same boat as us!
