Anyone elses heart skipping beats at 16-17 weeks??

YES, I had it in 17weeks too, but it'll go away, thankfully. I know how awful the feeling is, heart skipping a few beats. It is due to the increased blood supply and it burdens the cardiac output.
I thought I was getting into panic/anxiety attack. But now i am almost 19weeks, it didn't happen again (have my fingers crossed).

I've been having this every now and then - maybe only 3 times that I can think of but still - i hate it. It makes me wonder what is going on! Interesting to know about the calcium. I am so bad at remembering to take my calcium. I have an extra supplement for it I try to remember at night but I don't always remember!

Hi Ladies,
I'm 16 weeks and have been getting these flutters, skips. They are horrible and cause me much anxiety...can't sleep! To all of you ladies who have also experienced these, did they go away for you after you had your baby? I sure hope so! Not sure how I could cope with this forever. :/

Yep mine went away by itself. It was awful and so scary. Only advise i can give you is to take it easy and take plenty of rest. Dont overexert yourself.

Mention it to your doc or mw too, so they can keep a closer eye on you. xx
