Anyone every have a negative OPK and still get pregnant?

Hello Ladies!! I am just wondering if any of you have ever had or ever heard of anyone having negative OPKs but still getting pregnant?? I have not gotten a positive this month and I am on CD 22 of a 32 day cycle.. It seems like there were lines that were getting darker around Days 15 and 16, but then they started getting lighter and lighter, until yesterday it was completely snow white. Anyone have this happen and still have good news??

I didnt use OPKS but....

My sister used OPKs for a month.....she POAS everyday for a whole cycle.....nada....not a sausage.....no AF either.....then she peed on a different stick......

I never once got a positive OPK. Although on the month I got pregnant, I wasn't using them. So I dunno if that helps or not!

Hi Hun,
I was using them too, and never got a P result. I had put it down to maybe I hadn't started ov yet after coming off the pill. So I was shocked when we found out we were pregnant- not to mention being told i wouldn't concieve naturally!

hi there, I really dont think they are the most reliable things cos when I used them it just made me more paranoid. Dont get too stressed about them cos I dont think they are an exact science!! Candice xx

Hey hun I think it can depend on what brand u use....but this was my first month of using them.....and im preggers i was using they cheepy ebay ones and i never got a proper positive i did have 2 lines and my darkest line was on cd18 and i wud say the control line was 2/3 times darker then second line......so it defo wasnt strong enuff to say a positive.....but the day after that the lines started gettin much fainter so i classed that as my positive....i guess some arnt as sensitive as others....but hey it can happen lol x x x x

I used OPKs for the first time all last month and didn't get one positive!!!!

Was in despair!!! Did a bit of soul searching!!!

I've only ever had 1 positive opk and that wasn't the month I got pregnant.

I used opk's the month before we were going to start trying, I never got a true positive. Actually the closest to a positive i had - we didn't bd. I just wanted to see if i was actually ovulating and get a feel for the opk's. The begining of my cycle i only had the control line, then the test line started faint and proceded to get darker (but not positive dark). Agian the opk went back to just the control line- not even a hint of a test line. I don't know if the opk would turn positive when i missed my period b/c i ran out of them and was not going to buy more until af was over... but she never came. BFN day one and day two of being late... then BFP on day 3 of missed period. So it does happen!

Me! I used ic opks and didnt get ONE positive, just a few very faint lines a few days that you could hardly see so all negative but on cd 23 I tested for fun and bfp! My cm was more accurate, listen to your body, opks have never worked for me. Gl hun Xx

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and didn't get a positive OPK the month I got pregnant or the month before. I had a miscarriage in July, and I was using the OPKs in August and September to see if things were normalizing. I didn't get a positive OPK in September until 2 days before my period was due, after which I took a pregnancy test which came back positive.

I was using the OPK with the smiley face positive rather than comparing lines. It was way too difficult for me to figure out when the lines test indicated a surge, but the smiley face test was great.

I didnt use them this month but when i got pregnant with my dd i never once had a positive. in fact there was nothing, just the control line. not even a very faint line.

Then one day (just before my temp rise) i had a very faint line - I got pregnant that month and had a little girl 9 months later.

Then in Sept this year I bought some more, again nothing - even tried twice a day as heard that the window is small and if u do it once u can miss it. anyway again the line got a bit darker but didnt go positive like it should. I got pregnant that month but had a miscarriage.

I used them on my 28 day cycle and quit at about day 22 knowing that it was too late for a positivve....and wallah...pregnant...seems I ovulated 2 days after stopping the opks...so it is possible
