anyone experienced brown spotting on and off at 28 weeks? Advice be great!

I experienced a very small amount of red blood on Boxing Day that turned to brown spotting for about 3/4 days then back to normal and yesterday brown spotting again with a very slight tinge of red today for a minute then back to more brown. When I spoke to the midwife at the hospital she said its possible to come back, they examined me on Boxing Day and said the cervix was closed but could be an erosion of cells as I had not been engaging in other activities (TMI!) Baby has been moving all week, today a little quiet but still active. just wondered if anyone had a similar experience (not linked to sex) but that just came out of the blue, its fairly unnerving as I have had a normal pregnancy and it does make you a little worried!

I had red spotting at 28 weeks. had an internal exam and they could not find a reason for the bleed. cervix was completely closed.

I am now 36+4 weeks and have had no other problems since so i would not worry too much

I've had bleeding and brown spotting on and off all pregnancy and was the same last pregnancy too. This time it's down to a low placenta though - do you know where your placenta is positioned?x

My placenta is lying normally, so that is one good thing! Thanks x

In my first pregnancy my bleeding was all unexplained, at 16 weeks i was full on bleeding with clots but everything was just fine. Try not to worry but if you start to get concerned get yourself checked x
