Anyone got a false positive on antibiotics

Ok so my period is two weeks late last week I tested three times all negative this week I get a throat infection and start amoxicillin 500mg three per day tested again today and a positive. Now according too the instructions antibiotics effect results? Back ground I have pcos and have one small person and miscarried my second last year first time took me 4.5 years too get pregnant then 22 months lost baby at 10 weeks. It's been a year this month since my loss so I'm hoping this isn't false advice please

from what I have read amoxicillin is not an antibiotic that effects hpt's, it can negate certain types of birth control but I would suggest calling your doctor and scheduling a blood test to be sure.

I have never had a positive from antibiotics ,HCG is what the test is looking for. I find false positives are rare unless you are taking HCG.
