Anyone got a Patient info evening this mth?

DH and I have our PIE on the 24th and we are sooo excited!
Wondered if there is anyone else having their PIE for IVF this mth?
I am so hyped up! lol. AF is due 2 days after PIE so i am hoping that we can have relevant bloods etc on that cycle so we get moving faster. What are the chances? xxx

Its the first stage of NHS funded IVF treatment. You go along for a meeting to find out all about the process and then get your consent forms and forms for blood and SA tests etc.
When the tests are done you meet with Consultant and get a start date for treatment xxx

Oh I see

We have been to see our chosen clinic. We got the funding agreed the day after. And had all our bloods done with our gyno.

We have our first appointment with the consultant on 20th May

We had our 1st appt with consultant on the 19th April and then a few days ago we got our PIE letter looks like we could be starting around the same time ;-) xxx

Ah yey that will be nice to have someone to natter to thats going through the same stage.

Why are you having to have IVF? Are you having ICSI?

Hiya

We will be having IVF as i lost both my fallopian tubes last year within 6mths of eachother cos our babies were ectopic and ruptured my tubes DH is fertile as anything tho so dont think we will need ICSI but who knows! lol. Oooh im so excited!

Awwwwww sorry to hear that

We are having ICSI as hubbys sperm is 99% abnormal and not a lot of it so its our only option. Everything with me is fine but my fsh has come back high so fingers crossed all round.
