Anyone got a tattoo of their OHs name?

I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of my OHs name but not sure where to put it or what design really, so was hoping you ladies would post a pic of yours for inspiration

Is their anyone that thinks its not a good idea?

We've been together for ten years married for two and he's the love of my life

i dont have his name but have a heart on the side of my hand with an eternity symbol through it meaning eternity Love

My mums ex fiance has her name tattooed on him. So for obvious reasons I personally don't think they're a good idea. But if it's what you want then go for it. I hope you find a design you love!

I got a tattoo with a heart and hubbys name on the top of my thigh.
I got it done after only going out with him for about two weeks, he took one look at it (didnt know I was getting it done) and asked me to marry him and we have been together 13 years next january.
How I see it is he is a big part of my life and youth even more so because we have a child together so even if we ever where to split up he will always remain a huge part of my life for so long so a tattoo seems minor

I haven't and always said I wouldn't it's for 'mugs' but since I have had my child and how close me and OH are, I know if we ever did split he would have been one of the biggest parts of my life and i wouldn't regret it at all, he is now not just a partner but the father of my child.

I have considered getting OH's named tattooed around my ring finger. x

I wouldn't. We do have the same symbol tattooed though. I think it's better to get a symbol rather than their name, just in case.

Thats what it was like when I got mine done, I always insisted it was a stupid idea and never would have even though of getting it done before but something just clicked with oh even after just 2 weeks I knew there was a reason why I was going to get it done.

Iv have! He had mine done for last Christmas so I got his for our anniversary lol
We also have 2 matching tattoos, 1 for our oldest, 1 for our mc babies and soon to have another one for youngest!
We are into tattoos though and plan to have alt more and already have a few between us lol x

I'm getting a russian doll tattoo for LO and I will probably incorporate something to do with him into it (I'm getting things to do with LO in the design).

Personally, the only name I will have on me are my kids... But! I don't think anyones necessarily silly for doing it. You just have to be sure, even if 'touch wood', something happened.. You wouldnt regret it x

I personally wouldn't get a partners name tattooed on me, but I would have something matching with them if we'd been together a long time or something that would symbolise them that wasn't their name. I do have both of my childrens tattooed though

My friends Dad had his first girlfriend tattooed on his arm and then when they broke up had a crossing out put through it and the next womans name underneath. It now goes all the way down his arm and he's got his current wife just above his knuckle Not to my personal taste but there's nothing wrong with it I suppose. I should add this guy is literally entirely covered in tattoos too lol.

2 friends of mine (a couple) went on holiday got engaged and she had his name and the date they got engaged on her hip, he had her name and the date they got engaged absolutely massive on the inside of his bicep..And they got home 3 weeks after the engagement they split up..Oops haha.

I'm considering getting my husband to get my name tattooed on him...purely so if he buggers off he has a nice reminder

I'm not against name tattos they are pretty easy to change into something else anyway with a good artist

I would probably get one of OHs name one day.. We're having matching ones for LO
My mums got 2 men's names.. My dads name, (they spilt up before I was born) and her current OHs name. She said she doesn't regret either!

Tbh it'd be easy for me to find another OH with the same name - mike.. My ex also was called mike haha! Maybe I've just got a thing for guys called that?! Not that I ever want anyone but my OH though obviously!

For me, I wouldn't get OH's name tattooed on, if you get something simple enough they can be covered quite easily though if anything did ever happen. I would get something me and OH could both get if we were going to get symbolising tattoo's. And I am a tattoo fan, I have 9 xx

No i wouldnt - i wouldnt even have a symbol just for my husband either lol x (p.s i do love him lots)

i want one that represents myself and my daughters though an infinity symbol with 3 interlinking hearts x
