anyone gotten a BFP after just one BD?

Hello fellow TTCers!
This cycle my husband and I have been so busy, with the holidays and family that we were only able to BD christmas day which I believe was either the right before I started O or during it. I can't tell because two hours before we BD got a positive O on the test but I don't know when it started since I only took one test ((( Anyway, I really hope this month was just a waste of a month and i have my fingers crossed that does not show up...I really hope its not a wasted cycle I am so tired of seeing pics on fbook of my pregnant friends I feel like crying.

I dont have much to offer hon, but I know it's frustrating when no one answer you. This is only my first cycle TTC, so I won't be much help. I do however understand your feeling about seeing stuff on facebook! Part of me is happy for my friends and the other part of me wants to cry! I'm a basketcase already and not even pregnant lol. I wish you the best of luck this cycle and in the future, if need be (hopefully this is your month, it only takes once!) *baby dust*

Thank you Rockinmomtobe for your reply. Oh well, I guess I will have to wait it out. FYI, fbook does have a hide feature to hide posts on your newsfeed, everytime I see preggo friend of mine I hide the post It's scary that I have these feelings but I can't help myself. Where are you in Chicago, I just moved from there, I am in Ohio/MI area now, it's a big change!!! Good luck to you too! Hopefully it will only be one month for you

We're in the northwest suburbs, so not actually in the city, about 40 minutes out in the Schaumburg area, but looking at houses farther west. We'll see how that goes. Good idea about hiding the posts, I hadn't though about that lol. Good luck and keep me posted!

Best of luck! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get a positive result! My friend got pregnant in her first cycle but she really is a freak of nature LOL!

hahahaha you know what I heard that before, the better the sex and the freakier the more likely you are to get pregnant!
I think I need to bring it up a notch for things to stick lol.

I can't give you a yes or no answer because I don't know. What I can tell you though is that my DH and I only DTD once during my fertile time and it's looking really good for us this month. I haven't tested yet so I don't have a BFP but AF was due today and she still hasn't started and I've had a lot of niggling, pulling, pressure, pinching in my lower abdomen for the past few days along with many other symptoms. There is no sign of AF showing up yet so it is look good for us this month and we only DTD once. I'll keep you posted as to what result we get. Baby Dust!

How wonderful would that be! I know it is possible, but try not to have your hopes up because it does take a bit longer than that for some. FX for you but just know that if it wasn't your turn this time, try to squeeze in a few more sessions next time. Best wishes!

I did. It was the cycle that we were 'taking a break'. We only bd'd the day before O when i fell pregnant with DD. It took us over a year to conceive our first baby though. It only takes 1 lucky swimmer. Good luck

Yep. Weirdly, every time I've had a bfp (4 times but this is first baby), it's been months when I've only had sex once.
