Anyone had fibroids removed?

Just found out that I have fibroids one large on outside of womb and one on inside and lots of small ones all acting like i have a coil fitted!

I have to have the one on inside removed and the one on the outside investigated before the FS proceeds with any treatment.

Hi I am freaked out now. I am also called Tansey but spelt Tanzy ;-) I had a lap and dye on Wednesday and they found a fibroid but didn't seem concerned about it hope u get some answers. Nice to meet another tansey x

About 8 years ago I had a sharp abdominal pains and literally no for almost a year so I went to the gyn to find out after a transvaginal sonogram that I had Fibroid aprox size of a golf ball on my left ovary, It was so heavy that it was weighing my ovary down and slightly twisting it ...I had removed with Laparoscopic surgery (lasted 3 hours) and the only effects was a bad back ache after the surgery but that was due to the anesthesia (so my doctor said), when they opened the fibroid to test for cancer and it was non cancerous they did find the typical hair and molars...Surgery can be done in one day and before you know it you are home...I hope you get your fibroids removed soon and you can continue with your TTC journey I will pray for you girl!
