My husband and I are NTNP our third baby - well, out 5th actually. Hopefully it will be our third living child, but we have two who didn't make it.

Our son lived 2 days 8 years ago after suffering from complications relating to undiagnosed Vasa Praevia and our daughter was stillborn at 25 weeks for unknown reasons over 7 years ago.

We since went on to have our second daughter who is 6 and a second son who is now 4.

Is anyone in a similar situation? My DH wants a completely relaxed NTNP experience and our losses are one of the reasons he gave for initially not wanting to try again, but I so desperately wanted a third baby he has agreed to NTNP and leave it up to fate.

Sausages - I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your losses. Mine have all been early.
Big hugs and good luck with your ttc.

Hi Sausages. I'm not currently ttc as I'm pregnant with my 3rd rainbow baby (and hopefully 5th earth baby). I did go on to have my 2 boys after losing Jessica at 19 weeks and after a 4th loss last year I'm now expecting this little one.

Good luck with ntnp hun thats the road that we went down too when we decided to try for baby no.5 x

Thank you both for your kind words and sorry for your losses too.

Baby tots, congratulations on your pregnancy, I hope everything goes very smoothly for you. :)

I am in a somewhat similar situation. I have a six year old DS with my DH he was followed by 2 mmc, then my 25 week stillbirth followed by 2mmc. I am now very cautiously ttc again. My DH would be happy to take the NTNP approach (if at all) and I am doing exactly what I promised myself I wouldn't and have been testing since 8DPO

I recently had a late loss at 19 weeks. I got sepsis over Christmas and caused me to give birth, so thankfully I know why it happened so I can get better care this time. I'm going all out TTC, but this is my 2nd cycle (1st proper cycle after AF) so still early days. But prior to that I had my son who's 7, then an early miscarriage, then my rainbow baby who will be one next month. Hopefully it won't take to long to get pregnant again, but it took a year after my first miscarriage for my rainbow. So we'll see.

I am so sorry for your losses. :hugs:

I know exactly where you're coming from! I am trying my very best to be all nonchalant, but I know that as soon as I get to 8dpo I will be testing furiously. I am a hopeless POAS addict!!!

I'm sorry for your losses too hun. This is a shitty club to be part of. :( :hugs:

I hear you on the better care! I get great pregnancy care now, but sadly i had to loose a couple of babies in order to get that. Thankfully, if I do get pregnant again I will get fab care plus private scans which we pay for just to make sure.
