i was just wondering if ladies have had all the relevant tests non invasive and invasive and docs have found nothing wrong?

if this is the case do the docs send you away and tell you to keep trying or do they persist and recommend fertility treatment anyway

x

If they find nothing wrong they will reccomend something like IUI

We had all the tests and were diagnosed with secondary infertility. They had told us to keep trying and recommended IUI... I gave away all my mat clothes and "gave up" hope....I also tried reflexology

We have unexplained infertility and were advised to go straight to IVF. Apparently the chances of IUI working for us were negligible so we were recommended not to bother with it. Have you had all the tests done or are you just starting with your investigations?

We were told that everything was ok and I was given clomid, then they will look at IUI and then IVF.

i had bloods done in april and the doc wouldnt me further but i moved area so tried again with the new gp and she referred me straight away. i have had bloods for lh/fsh/rubella, swabs for sti's etc, had a hsg which showed clear tubes but i was very bruised which i think is an indication that tubal blocks could have beeen flsuhed out, waiting for progesterine test and bf has sa on the 30th.
i am then back at the hospital in december. i'm going to try and get a cancellation as waiting 2.5 months for the results will do my head in. whATS IUI?

Well we had SA done and 21day bloods and everything came back normal. Doctor said give it till November 08 and if I haven't fallen pregnant by then he is going to do an internal exam (oh lovely !) and then put me on Clomid. We have been trying for 2 years (well off BCP for 2 years) properly trying during right time with OPKs/Preseed etc for last 4 months.

Very frustrating.........:hissy:

I have unexplained infertility and all my tests so far have came back normal (see siggy below). I am having a laparoscopy & hystercomy Sept 9th. Hopefully they will find something that is preventing us from getting prego and fix/remove it. If the lap still shows everything is normal then I DH & I will get an autoimmune blood test done. After my lap I will start Femara/Follistim/Trigger/IUI.

Just thought I'd share! Hope this helps! Good Luck!
