Anyone had really high progesterone?

I've had two chemicals already this year so when I got my bfp this week I went to the doctor to get my progesterone checked. At 3+4 my level was 75! I think the high end of normal was 47 and that's for the first try at a whole. My hcg was 29 which is about average according to my dates. Anyone else had high progesterone? I'm worries as I've read it can indicate a molar pregnancy ( which I had in 2001)

Mine was 71 at 28dpo, or roughly 6 weeks pregnant. I was worried too but the dr and midwife said it was a great number. Hope this helps. xx

my progesterone at 7dpo was 89.8, then at 12dpo when i had my hcg test it was 99.6 im still currently pregnant =)

Thanks for the reply. Are you taking clomid? Apparently that raises your level. I'm not.. I've searched the net and can't find anyone with a progesterone level as high as mine that wasn't on clomid. I got retested today and get the results Monday.

Apparently it can also indicate twins!

We were struggling ttc so I went for a cd21 blood test (8dpo) just to check I was ovulating and my level was 69.5 then and it turned out to be our BFP month. All is still going well. As far as I knew those were the right sort of levels x

mine has been as high as 1005! but its avarage has been around 700!!
i do take progesterone injections, but even most people who take them they do nat have as high progesterone as me, even if they also are having twins.

i think its just how your body response to being pregnant and of course everyone is different. i have also read its an indiaction of multiples, but then peoiple say high HCG that double very fast is too, and i had my hcg testes nearly every day for two weeks before my 1st scan at 6 weeks and i can tell you that they did not double fast! they were taking 3 days!!!!!

anyways, either way it can not be a bad thing to have high progesterone i dont think.

no i was due to start taking my clomid the next cycle but it never showed! the only thing different i did ths cycle was vitex and royal jelly 2000mg, and it o'd twice in 16days and fell pregnant that cycle.

high progesterone can indicate twins but its not proven, same as high HCG in early pregnancy can indicate twins but not proven either, however high HCG has been proven to be linked to girls in early pregnancy

Hi everyone just had my progesterone levels after ovulation at 128!!! What does this mean? Is this too high? My nurse didn't seem concerned just said I'd def Ovulated! I'm confused?!
