Anyone have a child predict your pregnancy?

I know this sounds sort of... odd.

I work in a preschool with three to five year olds. One of our classroom teachers is expecting a baby in the summer.

Many of the children are aware of this teacher's pregnancy.

Well... one child is frequently making pregnancy related comments towards or about me. We are TTC now, but AF is not due until April24, so there's no telling yet.

Anyway, this child has asked several times, "Are you having a baby?" The child also insists that I am, in fact, having a baby. Even today, the child reached out and rubbed my belly in a circle and smiled.

Did anyone have an experience like this? I'd certainly be thrilled if the child is right. I think I'm starting to lose my marbles...

Some children, as I'm sure you've noticed by now, are highly intuitive. It's almost like they're psychic or empathic.
However, this child is probably just fascinated by or curious about the other teacher's pregnancy, and perhaps is even confused into thinking that all women have babies in their tummies. I've worked with kids most of my life, so have run into similar.
However, it would be AMAZING if it turns out you are pregnant! Tons of baby dust to you!!

hi hun , i definatley had this !!! i live 180miles away from my niece but try an visit as regular as possible , anyways this 1 visit i was just sat there on the sofa , my niece who was 3 came over an looked an pointed at my belly an said ''aunty u have a baby in your belly '' my sister an i looked at 1 another an laughed , but my niece was very insistent repeating it around 5xs in the hour !! me an oh hadnt told any1 we were ttc ! my sister said at the time '' i never heard her say that before to any1 '' an she has never repeated it since , she is 5 now . needless to say a short while later i got my bfp !!!!!

Hi hun my daughter does. She said il be having a baby in my belly after her birthday. She has always said april/may n that il have a boy.
Shes also predicted correctly what sex peoples baby will be all the time. When my cousin was pregnant she had a scan n was told she was having a boy n went out n bought everything blue. Lucie my daughter came out n said no your having a girl. And she did. So i believe they can

My DS turned to my DH tonight while we were all sitting in the lounge and said "Mummy has a baby in her belly", DH turned to me and said "Do you?".
Truthfully, I don't know but AF is due tomorrow if my last 2 AF are anything to go by...

I hope he's right!

My oldest son told me I was pregnant out of the blue, he had no ides we were TTC obviously, and he was right. So my answer is YES, children are very intuitive.

Yes. I have heard of little children predicting pregnancy, my cousin when she was pregnant had her tummy rubbed by an 18 month old who asked her about the baby and she was infact pregnant at teh time and my cousin didnt even know she was pregnant so i am a strong beleiever in this phenomenom
