Anyone have experience of an early pregnancy scan?

Just to update you all. Scan went well!!! I am 6 weeks 5 days. Saw our little seahorse and a very clear, strong heartbeat!!!
Due 10th of August!

I had early scan at 8wks. I went to doc as first visit and asked for scan. She recommended to wait a week so that they can detect heartbeat. I was eager for scan as I had just urine test and was still not sure myself if baby is there. Also I did not feel vomit, nausea as most common symptons. Moreover wanted to see baby and thought he/she will be big full baby. Stupid me..
