Everytime I go to bed and turn over in the night or wake up in the morning the joints between my legs near my lady bits ache like crazy. It feels like I've been doing really wide squats all day long. It's been feeling like this for a week now. I'm guessing that's because the baby is on it's way out soon.

Is anyone else having this aches in the same area?? I hope it goes away when the baby is born cuz it's hard to turn over in my sleep without anything hurting.

I have this all the time!! Mainly actually when walking, so i'm just not walking anymore, lol!! Its because babies head is very far down in the pelvis, i've been being monitored twice a week and this is what the midwife said to me. Its just the little munchkin getting ready! Haha xx

Not sure if you are already but sleeping with a pillow between your legs reeeeeally helps xx

Yes, I have been getting this too for the last week or so. I also find that if I have been sitting down for a while and then stand up, that I get the pains in the same area. Really pleased if like Nutshake has said it is down to bubs getting into position.

yes hun i have it. I have had it for about 5 weeks now. Its pressure of the weight and the baby on our joints. And it does hurt. :(

its SPD, some people end up on crutches because of it! feels like ive been kicked inbetween my legs every day. make sure your doing you pelvic floor exercises x

Ahhh i have this. Rolling over in bed is the biggest mission ever. Ohhh the agony! x

I've had this for a few weeks! It really is agony! The doctor said it was SPD and gave me crutches as I can't even move sometimes. This can be funny as well as painful, for example getting stuck on the stairs and having to call OH to help me move my leg, or when I'm trying to get out of bed and I manage to get myself into a position where I'm stuck between being sat down and stood up... OH laughs until I shout at him hehe.

The doctor said it'll go when the baby is born, and from the reading I've done it seems it's not immediate, but within a few weeks after the birth the pain is gone completely.

Things I've found that help are: pillows between your legs when you sleep!! This is the main one for me! Since I've started doing this I don't get pain in the morning, it just gets worse over the day. But I can get up in the morning with no pain now. Also sitting with a cushion or something under my knees helps. And as much as possible keep your knees together when you move. A good rest always helps me too!

Yep I get that, it is becoming agony to turn over at night, or get up to the loo. It seems to go off a bit once have been up on my feet for a while. I dread turning over tbh.

Come on babies!

I got it too - it sucks. Have had it for about 10 days now and its so painful that sometimes I just want to cry. I think I notice it more in the night when Im turning over or trying to get comfy, its just agony!!! xx

Yep i have this too, its not nice, esp when ive been sat for some time, i dread having to move cos i know its going to hurt & sometimes cos of my back problem i look like a 98 year old woman trying to walk..the joys of pregnancy..sighs..no one told me it was going to be like this, lol

Oh I am glad you asked this cos I was wondering if it was just where I hadn't bothered exercising lol ...
