I know first trimester is supposed to be all sleepy and fatigued but I find myself tossing and turning at night, and not sleeping well at all. Anyone else?
I couldn't sleep from finding out at 4w until maybe 6ish weeks give or take. I was tired but lying down I just couldn't drop off or woke really early. All changed though I'm 11w now and can sleep 12hrs straight through. I avoid naps through the days though so maybe would be less if I succumbed through the day. It will get better
Yeah definitely. I wake up every 1 or 2 hours without fail, even though I'm really tired, and so then I feel knackered during the day! Have lots of crazy dreams too. I'm hoping it will settle down in a couple of weeks! x
glad im not the only one. although i seem to have plenty of energy which is a good thing with a lo running around.
BUT OF COURSE, the only day that I can't sleep worth a crap LO decided to sleep in until 8:30am Hope she sticks to that kind of sleep when the baby gets here.
yes, I get tired and fall asleep really early (i'm already tired by 8:30pm!) but i find myself waking up at 2am and then tossing and turning for at least a half hour before I finally get back to sleep. It's really annoying!
In the beginning I fell asleep around 8-9ish every night and slept through with no problems! Now I'm waking up every hour and it's really hard for me to fall asleep :/ I never had any problems with sleeping EVER
I am constantly exhausted and find that I need at least one nap during the day if not then two!! Which then puts me to bed at about 10:30pm but all night I toss and turn and am so uncomfortable. People say that the reason we can't sleep more than 2hrs uninterrupted is because our bodies are preparing us for when the baby arrives lol!!!
I wake up every hour or so if I fall asleep. Most the time my legs twitch so bad that I don't fall asleep until well after 3 am and I wake up at 7:30 to get ready for work. It's awful and I wish I could just sleep! I'm exhausted
me too. I'm 12.5 weeks and for the past few nights, I've been waking up at least every hour. Whenever I toss and turn, I wake up. I've noticed a big weight difference in my belly and I'm finding it really uncomfortable to sleep on my sides, but I know I shouldn't sleep on my back or tummy. I really don't know what to do! I bet it's the bodies way of prepping us for motherhood, since we'll be up every hour or so once the little one is born!
My doctor told me to take half of a unisom sleeping tablet and vitamin b12 tablet about half hour before I go to bed and that has helped me a ton (thank goodness)
I sleep horribly! I have to take a nap in the middle of the day! And when I do fall asleep I toss and turn and don't feel like I am actually asleep. This happens when I nap too! Sucks because I love sleep!
