anyone help whos had tests and scan?

So I had a little rant yesterday about the doctor but she called back and said she is referring me for a scan to check on my ovaries etc and when I finally come on my period I have to go for a blood test between the 2nd and 5th day of my period anyone else had this and know what its for? Any input would be appreciated? Feeling happier that its goin to get done!!

the scan will be to check everything looks ok down there internally....

and the bloods they will take will be checking your hormone levels such as FSH, LH etc

Hi Hun

I had tests done two weeks ago and had a scan done last weds after having my period 3 days early last month and experiencing cramping since which has been 3 weeks now. My bloods came back fine but after having 3 internals in 2 days and having a scan they found out i had a heart shaped womb and cysts which one had erupted which was causing me pain. Gynecologists told me it shouldn't effect me concieving in the near future so glad i got checked out, you will be fine.

Ohhh ok thanks girls I'm quite pleased that she is refering me just got to wait now for af 2 show her face now so I can have my bloods done I'm quite nervous for the scan keep thinking they r going to tell me the worst!! X

Hi LauraLou,

I'm also getting my bloods checked out. Currently booked in next Friday for CD19 (but CD21 is best). Think the Dr got confused (he was new) and has booked to do everything on CD19 (even the CD3 tests!) I have a phonecall scheduled with his supervisor on Monday to find out what should be happening!

Thanks I'm just a bit nervous u know I'm blessed to have a 5yr old boy but it just gets so frustrating when he keeps askin when he is going to get a brother or sister! Who knows! Xx
