i have to be working towards a cert for my job, but the paper was so hard even my boss said it was a stupid paper all the other papers previous to mine were reasonably easy comaired to the one i had to sit. if i passed i got a pay rise and really could of done with it with a bubs on the way im feeling so crappy life isnt fair!
Got a wee bonus and an 8.3% payrise so I'm happy. Also got really good feedback from my peer reviews.
Hmmm yeah, that's fair enough. You think being home will mean you have lots of time but I think you end up being so tired and rushed off your feet with a baby.
I only want to go back to work part-time too...hoping my work can accommodate that - otherwise I will be looking for a new job!

Cant you ask if you can go back Octbebe? WOW wilsey thats awesome,im going into my boss next week to ask for a pay review as i think getting what im getting in the medical field is a joke and i cant really help support a family on it.

yes, I am very over work. Just holding out until next Friday!
I'm going back to work at this stage but only part-time. Haven't discussed it with my work so not sure they will even go for it. Will contact them three months before I am coming back (so 9 months into my maternity leave). Gives me three months to find a job if they can't accommodate part-time hours.
So much to think about!

ill think ill be heading back 3 months after bubs is born, we havent really talked about it though. might work out thats its cheaper and more cost effective for me to stay at home and get working for families or whatever it is lol.

Oh, just means we have purchased a house. The deal is all official when it goes unconditional (ie, you have finance, you have had a builders report and are happy with it etc). So we are very excited to have sold ours and purchased a new one with a month of each other! Phew!
