I am booked in to be induced on due date if baby isnt born before hand and it'll be using the cook balloon.
Anyone have this too and want to share their story?
This is my 2nd and vbac so wont be allowed to use hormones unless a last resort and baby is all okay.

Thanks x

I did with my son. It dilated me to a 4 and then they broke my water and started pitocin.

With my daughter they tries to ripen my cervix using a pill. It didn't work so they used the balloon. Within 3 hours my waters broke (hubby thinks they broke my water on accident inserting it because I felt some pain I didn't feel the first time) but from the time I noticed my water go she was born 2.5 hours later.

Both experiences were positive and I'd do the balloon in the future.

Thankyou so much for sharing!
Sounds positive, here's hoping for a smooth ride too x

My sister had been induced at 37 weeks with this method its ment to full out at 4cm so when your at active labour i think its the better and newer choise over hormon induction but it can be more uncomfortable when trying to sit etc xc
