anyone know anything about netbooks?

Switched mine on and it comes up.with a message saying there is a fault with the fan...

It gives me the option to shut down and that's it,apart from a HP website which makes no sense..

Does anyone know how to fix it?xx

I don't know hun usually if I get a problem with my laptop I use DH's to google it and there's always a geeky forum where someone knows what to do lol. If it's to do with the fan my first thought is the vents clogged with dust (this happens all the time here and my way of fixing it is to get the hoover to the vents lol)

Tried the Hoover didn't work lol...took it to laptop hospital in the end apparently its a common fault with the type of netbook I have.xx

I would advise buying something like this

Net books have a habit of over heating when they are sitting on laps or sofas etc as the fan is small in them.
