Anyone know anything about thyroid levels?

I had my thyroid checked my my regular Doc and my Free t4 was low at .74 and my TSH was 'normal' at 2.67 She didn't seem at all concerned by this, however; I'm freaking out, wondering if this could be the reason for my infertility. I know that the low Free T4 can indicate Hypothyroidism. Does anyone know what I should do about this? Or what I can do? I can't just ignore it, if it could be the reason for my years of infertility.

I am a thyroid sufferer myself. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis which is an autoimmune disease leading to hypothyroidism. My endocrinologist wants the tsh ideally to be between 1 and 2. Your's isn't very elevated. Have they checked you for thyroid antibodies? They are called anti-tpo and it is the best way to see is you have thyroid issues. I hope all goes well.

Agree with PP.
Just something I learned recently, you should get the TSH test on an empty stomach. Yours does sound fine, I aim for 1.5.

I have hashi motos too! My doctor said also they want it between 1-2. A little higher than 2 isn't that bad. You can talk to your doctor.more about it and see what they say...it doesn't hurt to ask and talk to them about how you feel. Good luck!!
