It says on the ingredients they contain egg Albumen what ever that means? I had one he other day without looking at the ingredients until after:dohh:

Ive eaten tea cakes whilst pregnant and haven't thought about the ingredients. I should think its ok, but maybe try and research it on Google

Errrmmm...don't see why not?!! On my list of do's and don'ts I can't recall marshmallows being mentioned! ;-) lol x

egg albumen is the white of an egg isn't it?

I would have thought most factories actually use dried egg in their ingredients which is safe to eat (I learnt this through cake decorating as they use raw egg white in royal icing).

I do have the taste for marshmallow teacakes now though! Mmmmmm!!

Its fine hun :)

you only have to worry about egg that hasnt been cooked properly as it could possibly cause Listeria (but even then its extremely unlikely to do any harm so the risk is VERY small)

Enjoy! xx

Ive just googled it and it says egg whites whipped from what ican undertsand anyway:wacko:Oh well maybe another one or two wont hurt hey:winkwink:Thanks ladies:thumbup:
