So savannah was sleeping through, for a couple on months until now. For about 2 weeks she's been waking up hungry several times a night.
I put her on solids, it solved the problem for one night. Another 2 nights she was sick so fair enough but last night. She had plenty of banana and a bottle right before bed and she still woke up twice.
It's too long to be a growth spurt, last one lasted just under a week and she's not in any pain. She's breastfed and formula isn't gonna happen.

Sigh, I could handle this alot more if a wasn't working.

not sure hun we had the same problem, but porridge before bed helped her to sleep through again. we've now stopped the porridge and she has a bottle of the night time milk before bed and that works a treat but as your bf'ing im not sur ewhat else to suggest xxxx

Maybe because you're working she wants to be close to you at night? :hugs:

Daisy is doing the exact same! Sorry no advice, but I am thinking that it is all down to teething?

Helena has been like this the past week and she is formula fed. I don't know what is going on with them?

Maybe its just the transition in weaning? Like they are at the age where they are just beginning to get more solids... but maybe they need more then they are getting, but wont get enough until the are fully weaned???

I dunno... lol...

Hope she starts sleeping through again.

:hissy:
Silly 5 month age, lol. Thanks Ladies

hope she starts sleeping through again soon :hugs:

Max is 6 months and is going through exactly the same. We've just begun weaning so he is getting a little fruit/veg for lunch alongside his milk but he is still waking up much earlier in the morning. Tonight I'm going to give him his normal bottle before bed and some baby rice see if that will help...so tired and I'm not working so I dont kow how you are coping!

Not very well. But you do what you can do really. God I hope this stage doesn't last for long!

Do you think maybe the banana isn't agreeing with her? Maybe you could try her on something else before bed? A little veg with rice mixed in to bulk it out maybe?

It's not just the banana that did it, she has had other stuff to. She had some apple at day care a few hours before bed so I really hope she'll sleep through but I know it's not gonna happen so at least then i'm not disappointed.
