Anyone live in a terraced house?

I have lived in a terraced house (not a new build). You could hear the neighbours on the stairs and music if they played it loud (along with shouting) but that was it.

I live in an end of terrace. I can hear my neighbours shouting at the football and singing in the shower, but not much else. When i lived in a ground floor maisonette I could hear the old(ish) bloke upstairs having sex

I live in a new build now and dont really ever hear my neighbours. Where i lived before it was an old semi and you could hear everything! Maybe my old neighbours where just quite loud though lol x
