If so how does it cope with nappies, or do you revert to store bought detergent for the nappies? I've been making my own laundry detergent (soap, borax, washing soda) since April this year (approx cost to date £3). I also use white vinegar for the rinse cycle. So obviously I can't bear the thought of spending a fortune on store bought laundry stuff ever again.
As I'm only just in 2nd tri with my first, I haven't made any firm decisions about nappies yet, but I hope to try cloth nappies, my only concern is finding room to store them in buckets while waiting for the wash and drying them after in my tiny house with a winter baby due.
