Anyone on Clomid?

I did my first round of clomid this cycle (50mg on CD3-7), my cycle days are usually 23-24 days long and I usually O around CD12 but I don't know how clomid will affect when I O. Does anyone know pre-clomid when they would O and how the clomid affected your O day?

I just did my first round of clomid...

Before clomid I was: 35-37 day cycle, O on the 23rd

with clomid I Ovulated on days 15-16

I had my first round of clomid this month...100 mg. I normally only have a period every 3 or 4 months, so my dr. gave me provera to bring it on, and I took clomid days 3-7. I ovulated late, on day 21 and possibly on day 22. I used OPK to confirm, but the symptoms were so evident, I wouldn't have had to use the OPK. I had major cramping and super sore nipples, which both lasted 4 or 5 days after ovulation. I am now on day 30 of my cycle, and 8 dpo. I had a negative pg test yesterday, so I'm going to try again Monday. Good luck 2 u.

we had our little guy almost a year ago with clomid ...took two round so..got preggo on my second cycle of it...was at 50 mg too..
i always had a short cycle so it did not change my ovulation except for sure on clomid i felt it coming ..very painful pain on my right side ...

we are trying for our second ..if nothing in 6 months we are taking clomid again...took us 2 years with Trystan ...

and when i got pregnant ...i was so sure my periods where coming ....i always spots before my periods sometimes a week before...usually that is how i knew it was not my month again...
on clomid ovulations was very painful...then a week before like 6 days before my periods i remember we had sex and right after i had a bleed...it was weird like a small bleed and then nothing i was so sure my periods were on their way...then i felt cramps and i thought that is over again ( we were suppose to do a other round of clomid with insimination for the the 3 rd cycle ) i even took the appointment on a thursday to see the specialist the following morning after my bleed (so a week before my periods ) the next thursday i tested as my appointement was the monday and i wanted to make sure i was not going to go and my periods were going to start and the doc could not examine me and i was going to be bleeding because of AF...and then bang ! it was a BFP ..i was so surprised as i was 100% sure AF was there because of the bleed...
so stay calm on clomid (i know it is hard ) but you may feel diferents or you may not !

Well Miel, I started OPK yesterday and got a pos! And today I'm definitely having some uterine contractions and left ovary pain! I have to admit I thought I would O a least a day or two later than usually but DH and I were prepared!

i remember i could barely walk on my second cycle of clomid as the ovulation was so intense !!
so you know there a light risk of twins with clomid right ?
when i went for my first scan we had two fetal pole but then on my second scan my body had reabsorb one of then (i was a little bit relieve of not having twin i must said )..

Part of me just what to take clomid right away again as for some reasons i know we wont make it again on our own...i have that feeling ...but my OBGYN told me i have now a new uterus (after giving birth) so she wants me to try for 6 months ...i am at cycle 3 now ...but i just want to tell her "GIVE ME THE CLOMID !! NOW LOL !!! WAISTING MY TIME!!! HERE ! "...not that having sex with my husband is a waist of time but still !

I finished my first round of clomid this cycle. I had a 28 day cycle ov around the 14th..i OV on the 5th which was cd15 this time. had some pain in my right side. I am now cd18 3 dpo and im feeling crampy in my lowew abdomen..Ive had a headache for 2 days..and i feel like im taking a cold..hope these are all good signs..Doc seemed pretty sure the clomid was gonna streghten my OV and help me carry a pregnancy..

Miel, I completely understand about the Dr thing. We know our bodies! And we certainly don't need to be told that we have to wait to get help when we're ready now! As the twin thing goes, I don't feel my O pain was enough to push out two eggs. I actually would be fine with twins (as long as they weren't identical!) but apparently that disappearing twin syndrome is quit common. I going to get corny here so bare with me, but there is something really divine about knowing that you just O, that there is a little piece of you that could be joining with your husband right now! (Or perhaps later this evening) Okay, Hallmark moment is over. LOL!

Around the 19th i think...unless i start having some really good symptoms..but for now im trying to hold off on testing until i miss AF.

before clomid i wasnt ovulating at all had been a year since i last did which lead me to have a 3 month cycle. just did my first round of clomid 50mg days 5-9 and i ovulated on cd19 i charted this cycle and got pregnant first go so dont know if it would have led me to ovulate on the 19th each time or not

Hello everyone... I'm very new to this babyand bump stuff so please forgive me... I have been TTC for what seems like forever. I had a miscarriage in sept and started on clomid 50 this cycle I am now 10 DPO and still testing negative. I got a +OPK on the 28th. I'm driving myself nuts this is all I can think about. On friday my temp went froim 97-98 to 99 -100.. does that mean anything? I have never charted my temps before I'm just lost. My boobs are feeling heavy and sore and my face is broke out really bad I don't know if this is a good sign or if it's the estrace and clomid?? I would think that I would have had at least a slight positive by now wouldnt I?

Those temps plus your symptoms read to be very promising! I didn't get a BFP last time until 13dpo so don't stress about that. Give yourself a couple of days then test again, and it's hard not to worry yourself about "Am I", "Am I not", but try your best to relax b.c stress has been proven to have ill affects on a developing baby. tigerlilies - thanks I sure hope so I just wish I would have been charting my temps before friday. I just hope its due to a little bean in the belly and not the clomid and estrace

when i got pregnant i remember i tested on a tuesday and got a BFN and then i retested on the thursday it was positive so you see sometimes even 2 days can make a difference !
i was never good with the temp (i did chart for over a year but at the end i did not think charting was going to help me )

Temp just shot up from 98 this morning to 99.2 about 10 min ago...i hope it stays high..but i have been feeling a bit crummy these past 2 days..could just be a cold coming on and we just go back from a trip so might have picked somthing up..I guess we'll see

That's okay, I would have asked you next any how! I wish we could do marathon but that's too much for DH, he's an every other day kind of guy and I already wore him out Sunday and Monday. My temp didn't spike this morning but since I'm sure O occurred yesterday afternoon (thanks to OPK!), I know it will tomorrow. It just sucks that I have to wake up an hour before DH for work or I would have jumped him this morning too which would have made me feel better about our chances. I just hope that spermy found eggy last night!
