anyone read the mortal instruments series by cassandra clare?

Ok so im a YA book junkie, and these are some of my favourites has anyone read them they are amazing and the first one is currently being turned into a film they have just cast the two lead roles, so want to see if anyone else has read them xx

I've read the first book so far, the second is sitting on my shelf. I LOVED it. Jace is one of my favourite characters. I'm anxious to see how it turns out on screen. I wasn't a fan of who they cast.

Have you read her prequel series? Clockwork Angel?

yeh ive read them all so far just waiting for clockwork prince to come out in december. i love jamie campbell bower for jace, cassie (the author) was sent his and some other audition tapes and agreed that he is the best to play jace and has great chemistry with lily collins whos set to play clary, just waiting for them to fininsh rewriting the script and start casting the rest of the characters over the next couple months.

a lot of people wanted alex pettyfer to play jace but he was offered the role before casting and point blank turned it down saying he wanted to play adults now not teenagers

i actually like clockwork prince better but im a big fan of the victorian era so thats probably why, though the mortal intstruments series is still amazing x
