anyone referred for foetal heart scan after ultrasound

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I am pregnant about 23 weeks and went for my scan yesterday, expecting my 2nd child. They send me to a consultant because the fetal heart was well seen. The 4 chamber view appeared normal. The left outflow tract is seen and appears normal. The right outflow tract is seen, but does not appear to cross over the LVOT, and appears to join the LVOT into one outflow tract.

My next scan is Friday but I am very worried.

Good luck hun. It us such a worrying time and I convinced myself something was wrong but we now have a perfectly healthy beautiful 4 month old. Try to put it to the back if your mind until the day. The heart scan us so detailed they will be sure to pick up on any problems, but most of the time its nothung. Xx

I am so glad to hear you had the same thing as me and everything turned out alright! The only thing that makes me think something could be wrong is they couldn't see the crossing AND there is an intermittent irregular heartbeat. I know this was from a while ago so you may not remember, but did they ever tell you what would need to be done if they truly did cross each other? I don't see my doc til next week and am afraid to ask him and cry or something dumb lol.
