I'm not pregnant right now (I don't think...), but I was just wondering. Is it safe to keep taking during pregnancy or are you supposed to stop? When the time comes, I will make sure to get the final word from my doc. I just wanted a little background.

yes, every one of them. It is recommended, because your chance of MC is much higher than someone who does not have PCOS, or Diabetes. It is perfectly safe. I am in my 7th pregnancy and have been taking it for about 11 years now, and I take it every day and every envening.

Oh, I'm so glad I asked! I'm taking it for PCOS and I've had two pregnancy losses already. Thank you!

I don't hun, but many diabetics (ie gestational diabetes) can get put on Metformin tablets. I had GD but managed (just!) with diet adjustment. xx
