This is my first cycle of TTC. Very excited but nervous at same time.

I am 31 so may not happen straight away but going to stay positive.

AF due end of month and I'm on CD 11 today so busy BDing before O.

Need some TTC buddies xx

Well today I'm cd13 over the past few days I have started to get darker opk but today when I tested the lines have disappeared so I must have O earlier than I expected. Managed to get some over the last few days - just hope it was enough

I've just come off the implant and have done bd a few times, no idea when af is due but if no af before end of may then i'll be testing! So i'm waiting 3 weeks after bd to test, hopefully no af until then, and then a bfp!

LaurenH2B - hope you get your BFP in 3 weeks must be quite frustrating having to guess when the right time is - on the bright side means you just have to keep bding

Does BD 5 days before Ovulation give you a real chance of conceiving? This is what I did yesterday but I don't know if that was a negligible chance.

Hi ChocLover - Technically yes, BD 5 days before ovulation could get you pregnant because studies say that sperm can live up to 5 days. Chances are low, but they are there. Good luck!

DH encouraged me to POAS this morning, but it was BFN. Can't say I'm surprised as I *think* I ov'd on Friday, although I have been having odd symptoms since Sunday. Anyone else caved & POAS early? Any symptoms?
