I was just reading my book,

They said reflexology might help with ttc and pcos (also all over wellbeing)

Has anyone tried it? Recommend any others?

Willing to try anything. For baby :baby:

Both DH and I started doing acupuncture... I read that it can make a lot of difference... we'll see. Im not sure if I'll be able to continue because I have a topical allergy to metals and the needles make me itch for days after.. but I would like to know other alternative methods people have tried.

i would love to see what replys to this as well as had thought about getting reflexology done

I haven't tried reflexology, but I've also been getting acupuncture. No baby yet, but I did get pregnant the first month I started treatment, though that ended in a chemical. If nothing else, I feel much better when I have acupuncture, and I can tell the herbs she gives me really work - I ovulate much earlier and have a longer luteal phase with them than I was able to before I started treatment.

I had accupuncture for months before even ttc dd. The month I got pg I had reflexology done (just one of those community foot massage places- I don't think they knew how to do anything specific for fertility) on day of ovulation (or day before, I can't remember). Not sure if either helped but I did like both!

Hello,

Just thought I'd pitch in. I had reflexology when TTC #1 - I was pregnant after about 3 cycles I think. Although when I first contacted the reflexologist I said I wanted help with fertility when I went to my first appointment I was literally dumbstruck as she told me various ailments I had at the time (I hadn't mentioned these to her at all - she could tell by the reactions I had with she put pressure on various points on my feet). Anyway, it helped my bad back and got my cycles back on track and helped a lot with stress as well.

One thing I would say is that it isn't a gentle foot massage - it can be quite uncomfortable at times, but is well worth it. I would recommend looking around for one that specialises in fertility. I went weekly until BFP then monthly thereafter.
