Erin has colic and she's having a really bad time with it. It seems to have come out of nowhere in the last two weeks. Her screams sound like she is in so much pain and they reduce me to tears because i can't take the pain away for her. The hv said it usually only happens at night, which so far it has, but today she's been in pain all day and only seems to get relief when she's managed to get some sleep.

I'm currently trying Infacol before every feed, and I've been using it since Monday but I don't think it's working. I've heard about Colief and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it? She is breastfed, so I know I'd have to express and get her to take it that way, but that doesn't bother me if it gets her some relief.

Does anyone with a colicky baby have any tips on how to make baby as comfortable as possible while they are having an episode? when do thhey grow out of it?

Colief or gripe water is what I used most ..I love it as it helped allot ..

another good thing is hold you baby with her tummy on your forearm and tap her bum thats the colic position which works good for tummy aches

also pushing her legs to her tummy for a few minutes helps out any left over gas .Burping her at ever oz is good too

colief worked a treat for my nephew - I would definiely use it if my LO gets colic. I have been using infacol since birth and seems to do the trick so far. good luck x
