Hi, I am hoping to breastfeed and have been looking for something I can carry around in changing bag and slip on if I need to feed in public, I really don't like the idea of the big covers you can get as don't like the idea of completely covering my baby but would like to keep myself covered and be able to see baby!

Has anyone tried, or know someone who has tried the breast feeding butterfly?? I think it looks like one of the best options I have found but would like a little feedback if anyone has any??

This is the link to the website....

I have never heard of a butterfly! Sorry hun :hugs:

Oh, and the link didn't work for me :(

Not come across that one either I'm afraid. I've always found wearing a vest top under my shirt that I can pull down when I pull my shirt up (or the other way round depending what I'm wearing) makes it really discrete and doesn't cover the baby.

I've never heard of it either hun

I use a muslin wrap that my friend sowed ribbons on so it can tie around my neck. Works really well for us. All the best for the rest of your pregnancy :flower:

tbh it seems like alot of faff for little lol, i use my shawl/pashmina for BF in public when EJ will tolerate it

Ah... thanks for pointing that out, I have re-added the link and is now hopefully working x

my girl doesnt tolerate covers at all!
i wear a singlet top (i think u guys call them vests), with a shirt buttoned (or unbuttoned) over the top - its coming into winter here so a long sleeve shirt over the top, in summer just a short sleeve blouse/shirt.
so unbutton blouse/shirt, pull singlet/vest down - my girl is so fussy that 1 top up and 1 top down doesnt even work - if there is anything draping on her face, she is constantly playing with it and too distracted!!

I always wear two tops (vest top under a shirt/another top). That way I've not got to get my belly out pulling my top up and you've only got a small portotion of yourself out.
I then use a muslin cloth to cover up, I tuck a corner under each bra strap, leaving it a little loose at the front that way I can still see down to the little guy.
Or I wear a poncho thing, which was by far my best purchase for easy feeding anywhere.

I have something called a "Hooter Hider" by Bebe Au Lait. It's an apron with boning around the collar. I'll try to find the website.....

Ohh, a poncho is a good idea!! especially as i'm due in October so will be a little chillier then!

I am a huge fan of these nursing tops, i honestly couldnt layer tops in this weather but these are discreet!https://shop.hm.com/gb/shoppingwindow?dept=DAM_MAM_KLA&modelnum=771801&type=matching
