Anyone trying for #2 around cd 4?

Ah twinks, good luck with the clear out!!! I hate packing, but so worth it when it's done.

In a way, no symptoms is good because then you don't pin your hopes on sore boobies or crampyness etc etc! Plus no symptoms means nothing - last month I genuinely had every symptom under the sun and no bfp so they mean nothing :-)

I know what you mean re eating crap though - I've purposefully tried to get more fruit and veg into our diets last few wks and haven't had a drop of alcohol for over 2 weeks! That said, I am still eating joke amounts of chocolate and cake!! I've been on pregnacare for a while and think they are pretty good. Dh takes the man ones too. It's very hard to be in charge of a toddler, go to work and be ttc and keep on top of eating the right stuff. My big issue is my lack of exercise - i have no idea how to fit that into my life??!!

Oh and I'm so with you on the Brazil nuts!! I heard they're good too and have a few each day.

Anyway fingers x for you. Will you test early?

Onto cd14 for me and another high on cbfm. I am feeling quite crampy so poss close to ovulation, also have some sort of (tmi) ewcm today so maybe gearing up to ovulate tomorrow or day after?! I will keep you in the loop! I think we will struggle to get pregnant this month as dh is working so hard, but feeling more positive using the cbfm than I have for ages!

Baby dust to all and sundry!

Xx

How long have you been ttc? Have you recently come off bc? X

Came off Cerazette on Aug 10th, had no withdrawal bleed or anything until slight brown discharge Sept 28/29/30. Had a faint +opk yesterday so here's hoping it will happen this month

:dust: to Everyone TTC

Hi all, CD 3 here and TTC #2 and working with a fertility specialist so its making my life a bit difficult trying to arrange babysitting for my DS while trying to make the FS appointments and to work on time. DS is almost 14 months. We had one IUI so far that failed at the end of August, and I took last month off from the meds, trying again this cycle. If it doesn't work out this cycle though I think I am going to be forced to wait a year because its just so difficult arranging everything with babysitting/work. Best of luck to all!

Welcome to the new girls :-)

I'm having a really down day today- don't know what's the matter with me I'm usually always so positive and happy. My lo is being particularly trying today. He's 16 months but is acting much more like he's in the terrible twos. All I want to do is crawl back into bed with a cup of hot chocolate!

Aw twinks hugs to you! Some days are just really tough aren't they? No good reason, the day just gets off on the wrong foot and there is little you can do to change it!! Can you have a long soak in the bath after ds has gone to bed? Or watch your favourite tv prog?

My dd is 2 in a few weeks and can be pure evil some days. The terrible 2's definitely started well before 2! And I honestly do wonder sometimes what we are thinking ttc another one!!! But then they do something so funny or cute and it makes it all better :-) very hard when you have a bad day though.

Hugs!! Xx

Aw thanks Fleur. The day just got progressively worse and my poor lo took a whole hour to get off to sleep he was screaming so much. He's cutting his two top canines and is finding them so painful. He even refused his milk tonight which is so unlike him and he's usually an amazing sleeper so he must be really struggling. I've got work tomorrow and just know I'm going to feel awful leaving him if he's as bad as what he's been today :'-(

Those ones suck Twinks! F's bottom two have cut but haven't pushed up yet, so we're close to being finished. I can't wait! He also started temper tantrums as soon as he turned one and I'm just hoping we'll be done with it early.

We still haven't dtd. OH has tonsillitis and they want him to have a blood test to rule out glandular fever. I think I was most fertile yesterday, but it used to be day 14 so maybe we might catch a late egg if we manage to dtd in the next few days. I won't be expecting a BFP though as I reckon we'll probably miss it this month. I guess it'll take the pressure off during the TWW though. Hope everyone else is okay x

Bloody teeth!!! They are nothing but a pain!! I know what you mean re worrying about the impact on the next day - but you might find he is alright tomorrow. My dd had a proper meltdown on Sunday and was obvs in pain as she is cutting her molars :-( but was happy as Larry yesterday and today! Fingers crossed your ds has a lovely nights sleep and feels happy tomorrow.

Sorry about your hubby notnic! Hope that it isn't glandular fever and he feels better enough to DTD in the next couple of days. Very frustrating when one of you is too poorly to do it! Anyway, it only takes one little swimmer so fingers crossed for you.

Xx

Can I join the party?!
Cd 13according to ff, but I'm not temping. Due to o on Saturday and this will be our first cycled ttc for number2. We have a little girl who is almost 21 months.
I'm a bit scared to try!!

Welcome princesskell!! I'm on cd15 so a similar ish time in my cycle to you ;-) I also have a dd who is about to turn 2.

I was scared to try for no 2 when we started (back in July - feels like so long ago!!!!) but pretty much as soon as I was in my first 2ww I was really impatient!!!

Anyway lots of luck, this is a fab thread so keep everyone updated with what's going on! We have had quite a few ladies get their bfps so lets see some more! Xx

Excellent! I'm hoping I get the impatience then I know it's a sign I'm ready!
We have dtd a couple of times so far this cycle, but I don't think fertile days start until tomorrow?
It happened cycle 1 for us last time so we were really lucky. I'm not expecting that this time though.

You never know! Lots of my friends conceived their second on cycle 1! That's kind of why I'm so frustrated I think!!!! :-)

How long did it take on your first go? Have you been temping or anything? Sorryifyou have already posted this...haven't read back yet!

Haha there are 44 pages worth of this thread - I lose track too!!

First time for our dd was 3 months, am now on month 4 for no 2. I don't chart because I have no patience and I think it would drive me round the bend!!! But I have bought a clearblue fertility monitor and this is my first month of using it. Currently on my third high day so hoping to see a peak soon, although I know that often you don't see a peak on the first month as it gets used to your cycle. Fingers crossed anyway!

How about you? X

We were blessed both times on our first cycle.

I think it is more important to be doing the deed up until when you ovulate. This time we were blessed by did 4 or 5 days before O.

Hey Everyone
Hope you are all doing well.Ive been so busy lately i havnt had a chance to get on here. Its good in a way as it keeps me from stressing about TTC!
Im now CD12 and hoping all goes well this month.
I feel for you all with the toddler tantrums.Roberta is 21 months and loves a tantrum. We've just got back from swimming where she had one. Some days when hubby is here i have to just go upstairs with a cup of tea for half and hour an just clear my head as i cant take anymore! It frightens the life out of me the thought of having two of them, but i do really want another baby, and just keep telling myself that i will just get on with it
:dust:

yes thats exactly what i have heard re dtd up to ovulation and this was backed up by something i read in the 'impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant' (!!) last night - basically, CBFM pinpoints high and peak days but apparently the second peak day (And sometimes the first, by the time you get round to dtd) you have already ovulated, and so it is potentially too late. The book recommends BD on your last high day (hard to tell, i know!) and the first peak day for most success. Although as you have shown, castaway, you may be lucky with a swimmer that hangs around for several days!!

I must say I do like my CBFM, although still yet to see a peak, but I keep inspecting the sticks each day. I really ought to have saved them so I can compare them all together - maybe next month!

How are you feeling Castaway? hope its alright being back at work XX
