Anyone trying for #2 around cd 4?

Dogtanian - our messages must've crossed!! I'm so with you on needing a time out now and again - we are only human!! I can't imagine what two will be like but as you say - I want to find out!!

I'm on cd16 so not far ahead of you. This month I keep losing track of the days/when I'm due af - it's quite refreshing for a change!! I'm sure partly that is due to the cbfm and just letting it tell me what to do! I hope I feel this relaxed in the 2ww...!!

Hey ladies sorry that I've been away, my dad came out for a few days to "babyproof" our house since Zoai is now starting to walk its so crazy how fast they grow, I miss when she was an infant
Were finally getting to the fun part of my cycle we bd this morning(it was around 1am so not sure if its still considered the morning) and 2 days ago not using anything(preseed) but they were both just out of the moment which was nice Im starting opks today and timed bd'ing on the 11th so keeping my fx'd crossed this will be it

Lol toddler tantrums seem to be the norm here now. My mum told me today whilst I was at work my lo sat banging his own hands against his own head and laughing!! He's also very good at faking tantrums now too where he pretends to be cross, throws himself on the floor oh so dramatically with a lil cry and then peeks out at the side to see who's watching!! Lol I try not to smile at that one but he is funny when he does that!! Glad everyone's gearing up towards ovulation. I'm still here waiting for AF. It's due on Sat. I had small sharp ov type pains at about 6am this morning but its something and nothing as I get all sorts of AF symptoms I honestly couldn't tell the difference between early preg symptoms and AF!

Twinks - cramps sounds positive to me but as you say af and early preg symptoms are pretty indistinguishable! Your ds sounds so cheeky!!! It is so hard not to laugh sometimes isn't it!

My dd nearly made me cry last night - we were having a lovely cuddle and she looked up at me and said 'mummy's eyes pretty' - that is definitely my best compliment ever! It was so spontaneous and sweet.

Anyway I hope af stays away for you, twinks, and hope you get down to lots of bd abii and dogtanian! Xx

We dtd again last night so definitely going for it this month. I have never had regular cycles so don't really know when af is on its way. I have started charting with ff, but just with af days and bd'ing, not temping.

We have had a few low level tantrums over here so far. Luckily they are short and sharp...F is not a sulker...yet!!

The cramping is insane tonight. I'm 3 days off AF so if I get cramping for 3 days and then AF I'm not going to be impressed! Lol!

Cramping this early in advance of af sounds pretty positive to me twinks - ESP as you have pretty regular cycles don't you? Will keep everything crossed for you. Symptom spotting is the worst! Keep us posted! Xx

Lol thanks all for the positivity but I sometimes cramp days and even a week in advance of AF! I've decided not to test as I any face looking at a bfn and spending the money out for the priveledge ha ha! Yeah I'm very regular Fleur so Sat/ sun AF should arrive if its going to. Fleur are you on another high today or has it peaked? It's fantastic it's picking up your surge!

It's so hard to tell with cramps isn't it? I hope it's bfp cramps anyway! Fingers crossed.

I've not had a peak yet, so cd17 today and on my 5th (!) high day but I have been googling cbfm peak sticks and I reckon it looks pretty darned close to a peak with two equally dark lines. I tried to figure out how to add a pic but I so can't figure it out!!! So I wonder if it missed my surge this month/is adjusting etc? I have quite a bit of EWCM today so it would tally up that today is ov day.The other thing is that it wasn't really done with fmu, as dd woke up at 5 (ugh!!) and I really needed to pee so when I came to doing the cbfm stick when I properly got up at 7 it was only 2 hours worth of wee holding in (!!) I hope that makes sense!!

So I'm not sure if I will see a peak this month but we will see tomorrow!

Phew a long story!!!

How is everyone? Cd19 for me and I just saw the egg!!!!!! Arghhhhh! I couldnt believe it. The last time we dtd was weds night and I thought I ovulated then and it just missed my surge! So a bit annoyed as I think it's very unlikely to get preg this month now although hopefully will manage to bd during nap time later. I know it's best to get it done the day before your peak though

At least it makes sense why we haven't had any luck so far though as I am totally misjudging my cycle and we stop bd around cd17/18!

How is everyone else? Twinks - how are you? Af due today? Hope she stays away for you. You gonna test? Lots of luck.

Today is apparently o day for me. We dtd last night, but have a wedding today so not sure if we will get chance today?

Yes completely!? I knew I was a late ovulater (!) but honestly didn't think it would be cd19!! I guess that kind of makes sense though as I'm pretty sure my lp is 11 days and I had a 30 day cycle last month...

I'm just pleased to see the egg!! At least next month we will know to commence serious dtd a bit later on! We so nearly dtd last night but were both knackered and I honestly didn't think the cbfm was going to give me a peak this month so didn't see the point. Oh well! Roll on nap time!!!!!

Princesskell - apparently the best day to get preg is if you dtd the day before ovulation so you should have done enough even if you don't get a chance today - fingers crossed! Enjoy the wedding!

Does o usually stay on the same day each month Fleur? And is your lp usually the same length if you have regular cycles? Excuse the questions just getting to grips with serious ttc!!

From what I've heard, o day can change but your lp always stays the same (unless you're actively trying to increase it with vitamins/drugs etc) - I had a 27 day cycle when ttc our dd but still an 10 day lp. I don't know for definite that I still have an 10 day lp but the fact that I had a 30 day cycle last month and am ovulating on cd19 this month does imply that, I think...?! Guess I will find out when af shows up this month!

Princesskell - if you're not sure when you ovulate would def recommend a cbfm - it's only my first month of using it but already I feel much better informed about my cycle and ov date etc - I have been way off the last few months! Good luck! X
