Laustiredttc: that would be wonderful if you get your BFP and don’t have to go! I hope so! Yes this will be my first IUI. I am kinds nervous.
Mrsborrowman: Welcome! I am glad you aren’t having too many side effects. My husband still talks about how moody I was. I hope this works for you, and I hope you find the support you need here. I don’t do my temps, but I have PCOS and it can interfere with temps. I start my OPK on CD11.
Scorpio: I am glad you are feeling more comfortable. If you have any questions about jargon feel free to ask. I don’t know it all, but I will help where ever I can. Good luck with selling your house, which can be so stressful. Hopefully you will get your BFP this month. You only need one spermy to catch one eggie and you will be golden!
AFM: I am on CD 30. I took my last progesterone pill last night so I am just waiting on AF.

My fur baby Buster, is a tri colour border collie turning 3 on 21 Sept. Hes my best mate. Theyre clever lil thigs arent they Jazz is a blue cattle dog about 3, unsure as shes a rescue dog.

Hi Ladies,

I hope you dont mind me joining....Im 25 been married for 3 months and been ttc for 2 years this cycle. i have a 5 year old daughter from a previous relationship but since then i have discovered i have PCOS, I went to my GP after 12 months of TTC , she sent me for a scan as my Cycles vary from 30 - 40 days and this confirmed PCOS.. i then got refered to a fertility specialist and waited 6 months for my appointment, in this time DH had a SA which is fine.

At my Appointment they sent me for all sorts of blood tests and a lap and dye, which showed my tubes where clear so he prescribed me 3 months of Clomid 50mg, i do believe i ovulate on my own but again this was prescribed to try and regulate me,. which it kind of did, cycles went to every 32 days ..... another 3 months was the prescribed,still 50mg...5 clomid Cycles later im still not pregnant AND iv moved from Wales to north yorkshire.

TODAY i have my appointment with my new fertility specialist and im so anxious as to what the next step is..... Iv already spoke to the lady im seeing today and she sounds lovely so fingers crossed she will monitor me better...i had no tests etc while on clomid in Wales.

Sorry to waffle on but as you all know there isnt really anyone you can talk to when TTC.
Hopefully we can support each other on this long journey

Thanks for the welcome, last day of Clomid today. Have appt with Gynae on Thursday to see if Clomid has worked/working.

Iv just got back from my appointment and nothing really to report... it was more of a medical history appointment which iv done before in Wales...i wish they could access my records instead of me having to go through it all again.

Iv been booked in for a scan next wednesday to check my ovaries and im having day 21 bloods but on day 28 coz i usually ovulate in day 21. I am THEN meeting my consultant... on the 5th Novemebr ...seems so long away!!

I have taken a month off clomid this month (gettin terrible side effects) but the lady i saw today has advised me to take it again next month so when they do the day 21 bloods they can see if there is any difference....I was shocked though when she told me that they prescribe 12 months of clomid before they look into other options!

I also found out that North yorkshire provides NO funding whats so ever for infertility treatments!!! so if IVF was our only option then we'd have to try find the money

Sorry its all about me...i just want to share my experiances with you all. I REALLY hope we all get our BFP's soon .... me and DH have alot of stress at the moment (DH job and health) which i KNOW isnt helping with TTC but we need to find a way of de stressing..any ideas?? Also do you all take folic acid?? i dont and dr today was suprised i wasnt taking it :-/ xxx

hey mommy i hope the scan goes well next week. I am quite surprised myself that they prescribe 12 months of clomid esp after all the side effects it can cause. I am also freaking out a bit because me and dh might be moving to north yorkshire, depending on where he gets posted (military) and i can't believe they dont give any help with funding for treeatment

It doesn't seem fair that different areas grant different funding.

I know, Iv read that it can thin ur lining which makes it impossible for a fertilised egg to implant. But I don't want to say these things to the drs, coz they SHOULD know best lol, I don't think that's always the case tho xxx

I take a prenatal vitamin that had folic acid. I have been on it for over a year.

mommy we're posted at headley, its ok here and the drs are okish but not sure what to expect with this fs doctor. My husband will be working and cant get it off to come with me so it makes it even more daunting Where about in yorkshire will you be posted?

We are in catterick. Is ur hubby in the army? We only moved her 6 weeks ago, my little girl started school on tues and I don't start my job for another couple of weeks so I'm really bored, don't know anyone which makes you have a lot of lonely time which is a nightmare for over thinkin things :-/

think we are being posted to either harrogate or ripon but nothing has been confirmed yet, you know what the army is like ha ha. Sorry yes dh is in the army. I do find it a bit boring sometimes when we first move but then i settle in and all is well. Not been to catterick, whats it like there hun?

Hello army wives =)

I got AF today. But Im feeling good. My cycle is shorter now yay. 41 days, then 39, now 37. On the down side I'll be on a girly getaway during next OV. HOWEVER, this means I can go on an overseas holiday in Nov. I could catch eggy then.. This is all based on my current OV day CD26/27.

Also, Im booked in for my final CD3 blood fertility test. Drs appt for results is Sept 25. One step closer to improving the ttc plan. Cant wait.
