Anyone want a buddy?

Thanks for the info

sorry af got you karen and i agree with scorpio, if he is uncomfortable then maybe just speak to him about it when you get home. I have the fs 20th sep and my husband just cannot take it off from work so i have asked a friend i trust to come with me for support. Is there anyone you know you can trust to take with you at all hun?

Ps i am 13dpo and should have gotten af by now. She still is'nt here but :bfn: still. I just wish she would hurry up now!!!!

finger crossed lau that af stays away and u dont have to go to your app on the 20th! :)

sorry Af got you Karen, try to remain positive

I was also on the pill for 4 years before stopping to ttc my daughter then went back on it after she was born and was on it for a further 3 years, i believe this has had a contributing factor to my fertility. i dont think il go back on it ever again.

Well im on CD 16 and i got a +opk on friday ?? CD12 which has never happened BUT my temp hasnt gone up so maybe its just a false positive, im having alot of crampy pains and bad headaches though so im a little confused, prehaps my hormones r all over the place with it being my 1st month off clomid.

Hope everyone is well, i have my scan tomoro so il hopefully find out if i have ovulated or about to! xx

Everyone, thank you for you advice and concern about AF showing. It was a good thing though. We knew we weren't preggers. Last month was unmedicated, and I hadn't even ovulated while on the meds, so there was no way we could be pregnant. We needed AF to get here so we can start the new meds and have our IUI done. DH was getting impatient because it was 35 days. Also DH decided to go with me. He doesn't have to work that day, and it is hard for him to get work off so he doesn't know how many appointments he will actually get to go to. Our scan is on the 24th.

hey mommy and karen good luck with the apps girls.

Spotting tonight so she will be here tomorrow. Finding it hard to carry on.

Aww lau in sorry :( try to remain positive. I know all to well that it is easier said than done the 1st few days of af I always feel like giving up. It will happen though.

Ooo Karen u must be excited, what are they lookin for on ur scan? Sorry to sound dumb.

Well Iv been for my scan today, just routine to check for PCOS. and very much to my surprise she said my ovaries look fine??? Not polycystic. I'm really confused because the scan I had 18 months ago showed I had polycystic ovaries. I don't understand. Can anyone shed any light. Have I not got PCOS then? I know that its hormones they look at too but I don't have the symptoms that come with PCOS apart from irregular cycles. So I always thought I just had PCO. my appointment with dr isn't til 5th november so Iv got ages to wait :(. The sonographer said I had a big mature follicle on my left ovary so I'm hoping to ovulate in a couple of days. It's been day 20/21 of my cycle while on clomid so I'm hopin it's similar. I'm on CD17 today.

Sorry to waffle. Hope everyone else is ok xx

hey hun great news on the scan  I think that if they didnt see anything then your safe hun. Hopefully you will get your :bfp: before your app in nov so wont need it.

I thought af would be in full flow today but just spotting so expecting her tomorrow now instead, at least my lp has increased

Hey Girls,

Well had my 14 day U/S today, could see a follicle on my right ovary that was 24.3mm (well pleased) never have i ever had a follicle as i have PCOS.

Well got home and did a quick OPK test, within 1 minute of me doing it it was positive :0)...

That's fantastic news for you! Keep us updated. I've got my hsg tomorrow. Sure it'll be fine. They've decided to repeat my prolactin blood levels and also to test for thyroid function before returning to the consultant and discussing results.

great news on the opk mrsb

good luck goingforit for the hsg i hope that you get good results hun fx

That's great barrowman now is the fun part ;)

Goingforit hope the hsg is ok.... What is it they actually do??

I got a VERY positive opk just now which is right I have been getting them on day 18 or 19 and today is cd19. I'm really pleased as I was worried the first month off clomid might mess my cycle up abit. I'm just really tender in the ovary area, every time I walk it hurts :(. Anyway I think il ovulate on Sunday. I have the in laws staying this weekend but will just have to dtd with them in the house...:-/ not what I'd usually do lol.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I have an interview this afternoon so I'm hoping I get it

What is everyone's real names? I'm becky and I'm 25 I live in north Yorkshire xx

Thanks for the good luck girls.

Im have everything crossed we get our :BFP: this cycle, ive waited 3 years for this xx

mummytochlo: Im Sarah, im 30 (soon to be 31) and I live in Guernsey x

Laustiredttc: I know it is hard when AF shows up. Don’t give up here. We are all here for you.
Becky: I am glad that your scan went well. I hope that you ovulate soon, and don’t worry about the inlaws. My mother in law lives with me. We would never have a baby if we worried about it. Though I do have to admit she has lived with us for over a year and it is still weird. My U/s is to check my follicles and see if I am going to ovulate on my own (which I never have) or if I should do a trigger shot before my IUI.
Sarah: Yay! Congrats on your pos OPK. That must have been so exciting. I have never gotten one either. I have PCOS. I am hoping I have a similar experience at my CD15 U/s.
Goingforit: Good luck at you hsg! Let us know how it goes!
AFM: I am on CD5 and day 3 of the femara. I haven't noticed any of the symptoms I had with Clomid. That is wonderful. My U/s is scheduled for the 24th. I can't wait. That seems like forever away. My name is Karen, I am 27, and I live in Oregon.

Hsg went okay. It only felt a bit uncomfortable but I had forgotten to take the paracetamol a suggested - oops! It felt fine. All went through okay and fast on left. Slight slower in right but he thought it was okay. Now feeling fine too.

It's a small world. I'm coming to guernsey tomorrow for a day trip. (dont suppose you know of any bagage drop places? Bringing dog across on ferry and need to put his crate somewhere - dilemma im still to solve!) I live in Somerset and am also called Karen

Hope everyone else is good xx

The femara isn't too bad. I was a little irritable yesterday. I am just so tired of bleeding. Today is CD 8 and it is the first day that looks as though it might actually be going away. Also my periods are painful, but usually only the first half. This time killer back pain the whole time. I don't know what is related to the Femara though.

hey mummyt, i wish i could be more of help but i am just as confused when it comes to temping etc.... i even used to get confused with the opk so now i use the cbfm i just feel its more reliable in predicting O for me. I hope some of the other ladies can give you some help hun.

Karen i also suffer from really bad period pains so know how you feel hun. Hopefully the the witch is on her way out :hugs:

Thank you. I think she is. Finally! How are you doing?
