Also posting in toddlers in case more mums there have this...

I recently got a second hand vaude jolly comfort rucksack style backcarrier. I had been putting LO in and assuming it was fitting correctly based mostly on if it didn't seem like he was going to fall out of it. Having seen another post about crotch dangling I'm wondering if there's more to it than this and if there is a specific way I should be fitting him in or not ! No instructions for how to put the child in that i can find on vaude website, just wondered if anyone out there had one and knew how I should be doing it or where I might be able to find out?

Thanks ladies :flower:

We've been looking into getting a back carrier and I know there were a couple of vids on YouTube for the Vaude carrier, maybe try there?

(not the same carrier but hopefully they shouldn't be too different)

Brilliant thank you - I had tried you tube but had put in jolly comfort to so not found this will have another go - any idea how you know if the seat height is correct?

Their chin should be level with the top of the chin pad/pillow.

Thank you. Just worked out how to do the back adjustment for me - has made it loads comfier but fear it will put my hair in a prime pulling position!

You probably don't need these now as you posted so long ago, but I searched for ages before I found the instructions so I thought I'd post up a link in case anyone else is looking.

However... it appears that I can't post links because I'm a new member.

If you google search for "Jolly comfort I / Jolly comfort II (10387/10365) PDF" you will find it.

That's great thank you - we've basically been doing it our own way but always good to know how it should be done!

No problem - they are quite straightforward once you get the hang of it. I got our second hand too a couple of weeks ago, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make the shoulder straps longer! Poor daughter was getting a bit "compressed".

Just seen I can attach a file so here's the PDF in case anyone else wants it.

Mrb, how do I know if I have type I or II? I can't find any number on the frame. I am 187 cm, and it feels like I don't get enough support from my hips, so maybe my frame is type I.

Regards Kristofer
