Anyone with dizzy spells?

I was fine all day yesterday but somewhere in the middle of the night I woke up really dizzy, room was spinning and I thought I was going to vomit. I was up every half hour since then, the only thing that seemed to help was sitting up. ... anyone know if this is a blood pressure related issue? ?? My next OB appt is tomorrow so I'm definitely going to mention it.

Me too! I actually saw my Doctor about this this morning and as I thought, it was related to my blood pressure. Had my pressure taken whilst sitting and then standing and there was a big drop whilst standing. Not much was recommended really, they will just monitor it. I guess with all our hormones buzzing around, it's bound to happen. I guess all we can do is take it as easy as we can and don't stand up too quickly.

From what my folder from the Dr says it is due to changes in blood pressure or lying on your back. Do not stand for long periods of time and Lie on your side. Drink lots of fluids. I only get this occasionally at work, but I just go sit and take a break they have been good about it.

Thanks ladies. It got so bad at work I ended up coming home. The dizziness turned into nausea and that turned into me puking .
I'm trying to push fluids as much as I can. I even drank some ice cold OJ to get her to move but she's not having it. She must be really comfy laying on a nerve
..meanwhile I'm ready to stand on my head to get her to change position.

I get it quite bad because I suffer from low bp during pregnancy it seems to be worse this time round though x
