Anyone with endometriosis?

I'm concerned it's on my bowel and that will cause a hospital stay.

I'm trying to remind myself it's ok. If I end up in the hospital I'll need it. If I don't hopefully that's good.

We are getting new insurance! Very happy! This way the surgery should be covered and hopefully more of the meds too!

Anyone know what tier their meds are?

Now I just have to find out if my current hospital of choice is in network or if I'll have to go to the other one for the surgery. My NaPro dr is the only one in the area so I'm hoping that I don't have to switch.

I do have to decide on if I do the HSG next week or wait until after my next cycle (mid feb) to have it done. I'm thinking of waiting just to make sure the surgery is covered by the new insurance.

That is great. I wish the best for you.

So... surgery is Thursday and I'm nervous! !!

I would be too! Think of it more like excitement for answers?!

I'm nervous for mine and it hopefully won't be until March!

Are you doing anything to prepare to keep your mind off it like cleaning house?

Girl I cleaned washed cooked and all of the above. I keep messing up by going to youtube watching the videos about the surgery. I've never been put to sleep before so I'm really afraid of that... I'm ready but nervous! !!!

It sounds like your ready!

My best advice is take a list of questions you want the answers to for after the surgery. When you first wake up you will be groggy and you don't want to forget.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Being put to sleep isn't bad. Feels weird and I've gotten weird dreams after surgery. (I've only had wisdom and adnoid/tonsillectomy done).

I keep looking stuff up too. I've been battling a migraine since my appointment Friday. I can tell I'm super stressed about it already. I'm just anxious to get answers. I hate to wait all the way til March but, technically I get laid off March 15th so to do it before that just seems like a waste of possible income. (I should be picked up by new company taking over my program, but it could take a couple months, so we can get paid more, do less and not need as many hours after that between March 15th and probably June)

Thanks Milty, I will put all my questions on my tablet so that my husband can have them after the surgery. I will indeed keep you guys updated.

I have started a vlog on youtube, I don't know if I am doing it right or not b/c everytime I try to search off of my husbands phone, I can't find it... So, I am going to play with it some more. I have two so far...

Rhap- I know what you mean by stressful. i didn't sleep well last night and I am afraid I won't sleep much tonight either. I making sure I set three alarms tonight so that I won't oversleep!!!!

Hopefully all you wonderful ladies believe in the prayer of the Lord so please keep me in your prayers!!!:happydance:

I'll be praying for you!! No sleep tonight no biggie, your be dreaming lots tomorrow!

It's a piece of cake, you'll be fine :) After, my sister and husband had to help me eat for a bit because I was so out of it for a few hours - but I had applesauce, graham crackers and peanut butter, and potato chips and all the sprite I could drink. They said I had to pee before I left so they could make sure my organs woke back up after the anesthesia - and I was soooo scared it would hurt to pee, but it didn't.

Now - you will be in severe pain after you get home when you sit up. The gas they use to inflate your belly goes into your collar and it literally feels like your collar bone is going to break. I tried to sit in the recliner a couple days after I got home and I cried and couldn't move, my husband had to take me to the bedroom and put me back in bed because I couldn't move on my own.

I kept my ass in bed after that unless I had to just go pee real fast.

But everything else was fine. It honestly is not a bad surgery, at all. You'll make it through like a champ :) Don't be nervous!

He thinks this is what was preventing pregnancy! !! He told my husband he thinks there is a great chance that I should get pregnant right away now and that he removed all that he saw. He explained to them that I would bleed as a period, which I am confused bc I was suppose to start anyway so idk to treat this as a period and start my femara tomorrow or what. So waiting on that call...

Okay AFTERWARDS. ....

Now J_Lynn babaeeeee were not joking about the shoulder pain. I thought it was about to snap in three or four pieces! !!

When I got home my hubby made me chicken noodle soup. I ate half a bowl took my Tylenol 3s and went to bed. They had given me 5 IV bags for fluids and it took me 3 hours to pee. She said that if I didn't pee she would have to give me a catheter. So I prayed and tried one last time for the 5th time and got it! !!

I woke up so many times last night having to pee. Honestly over 20 trips to the bathroom. I stopped counting... I believe that I have started my full flow in which he told me that it shouldn't hurry so bad anymore and you guys it doesn't!!! About 8pm the shoulder pain started and I literally cried. I had to raise my arm alive my head for about 15 min. This pain came about every hour for about 4-5 hours. It was worse the very first time tho.

All in all I got about 2 hours of sleep last night. Incision are sore but don't hurt. Incision in my belly button and one below it on my panty line! !!

The Dr told them I should be A1 today which is day 2.

So he thinks this is what I needed, I should be pregnant in the next few tries! !! Excited! !! So I did have endometriosis and scar tissue. ?.

I've been thinking and praying for you. Glad it went well!

Hoping your recovery goes well!

Glad he was able to remove it!!!

Sometimes if you take gasX or something like it it will help the shoulder pain.

That's great!! I am pretty sure he will tell you to wait on the Femara until next cycle - that's what they did with me. You will NOT feel like having sex in the next week or two, I promise lol and you shouldn't bleed for more than 2-3 days

That gas pain is SO bad, I tried everything to make it better and just staying on my back was all that helped it.

That is so great they got rid of the Endo! That stuff is bad news! I got pregnant on my 5th cycle after my surgery, and had we don't Femara right away I know it would have been immediate - but we tried 4 cycles of clomid, and then 1 cycle of Femara.

It was worth it. Absolutely worth it :) And take advantage of hubby waiting on you as much as possible haha I had mine getting me everything; I was drinking sprite from a can with a straw and anything I wanted to eat for 2 weeks. It was wonderful. Bawhaha
