anyones teenager have a moped licence??

anyone have a teenager that has a moped my son is having a moped for his 16th hes brought his clothing gloves helmet n we have the bike we'll book his cbt once hes 16 but need his licence ive tried looking online is it a sperate licence for a moped or a provisional driving licence?? i have a driving licence with moped on but before the laws all changed anyone know

hey i got a moped i dont drive a car havnt done a car test all i needed was my normal provisional driving licence, the cbt last 2 years and if u wanna do your bike test u can but it will cost or u can redo your cbt lol

I've got my full motorcycle license now.

I started at 16 with a 50cc moped. You dont need any type of license except a provisional. It lasts for 2 years, but once he reaches the age of 17 he could get a 125cc moped/motorcycle
