April will be a full yr since we started although in all honesty we had to take 4 months break as i didnt have a period from nov to feb as i have low progesterone

so its hi from me x

hello there! and welcome!! We all have been trying for different lengths of time and are here for different reasons! I'm pretty new here too and thus far have been truely impressed with the supportive women on this board!

We've only been trying since last August but we were diagnosed with azoospermia (no sperm in ejaculate) so I came straight over here since I know we're not having our own without help.

Good luck to you!

:hi:
its been a year for me too! but a lots happened in that time.
so welcome to the ltttc!

Hello and welcome! I hope your stay is short. Everyone here is super nice and I am positive you will meet great friends and find wonderful support here.

thank you everyone. i am coming to the end of my 8th cycle i think it is lost count to be honest lol my chart is looking fantastic mind you but no symptoms. although had some af feelings yesterday but due on mid week so understandably.
i am having the most bizaar (sp) dreams mind you and cried on the way to work this morning for my (dead 8yrs) grandma...just another month of symptom spotting lol

Welcome Louisa! I have been TTC since May 2007. I hope your stay here is short, but while you are here we will make you feel at home!

can i join your thread? ive been trying now for 2.5 years. i have had blood tests done which were normal, hsg which showed fully open tubes and ive been swabbed for infections etc which all came back clear. ive always had slighty irregular periods ranging from 27-36 day cycles so my speciallist put me on 6 months worth of clomid at 50mg because blood tests showed i was ovulating at that, although i was ovulating anyway. think it was just to regulate my periods. im on my 6th cycle now and so far no luck, ive got my next hospital appointment on april 27th to discuss what happens next although my gp said it will be a laparascopy because i have all the signs of endometriosis. im soooo looking forward to my next appointment so i can discuss it!

Hey Dinky, good luck with your next appointment! As I've said in another thread I've just had my lap and dye (they detected some mild endo which I've never thought/ had symptoms of) Good luck!! xx

Hey Louisa and welcome to LTTTC!!! Everyone is so supportive here and you can usually find someone to give you some advice on what you're going through!!

Hope your visit here is brief and you get your :bfp: soon!!

thanks for your reply bexy. how was the lap and dye? did they removed the endo? i honestly cant wait for my op. im convinced that endo is the cause of my fertility problems. when can you start ttc again? i swear im gunna be like a production line once i have my first child! ive had a confirmation for my next appointment come through the post today and my appointment is 22nd of april and not the 27th so that takes 5 days off the wait!

Hey Dinky, lap and dye was ok - I think I have quite a low pain threshold as the pain near my belly button is still getting to me - sort of feels like a burning needle in there! Mind you if I can't put up with this then childbirth will not come easy so trying to be brave!!! Ha ha!!

Yep - the surgeon removed the endo whilst he was there and also drilled my left ovary due to pcos (right ovary looked fine) and all my tubes were clear - lots of blue dye on my sheets when I got up to go home and a blue bum (which DH thought was hilarious and said I looked like I'd sat on a smurf!)

Consultant basically told me to go for it this month - due to ov in 2 weeks so hopefully will be better healed by then!! If I have no result I'm back for next appointment in 6 weeks!

Fingers crossed for you!! xx

she got me today boo hoo but 40 days so that not bad just my chart was the best its ever been....mmmm

I read and participate in both forums, even though my fallopian tubes have been blocked since I was 19 (nine years). No way to do it without help. I don't see any reason to not come right here if there's a problem or it's been a while, and, truthfully, I'm bothered by how many online communities I've seen that say you MUST be TTC for at least a full year, no matter what, to get to join the sections for long-term or fertility issues as a way to "prove", I guess, that you mean it. I don't quality since I've only been trying, by their standard, since November, when we started our first IVF cycle (we've since done a second cycle, plus an FET). Which was stupid, and why I'm on this forum. Nicer people, more open-minded.

Hi and Welcome...I have been on here for about a month and everyone is helpful and if they cant find an answer to your question they will refer you and offer support :-)
I have been TTC for 2 years and took a few months off in the beginning (so technically it can be 1 1/2)...I started my first round of Clomid on March 11 and Provera brought down AF after 7 months of nothing...I have my fingers crossed that it will be my month but trying not to get my hopes up to high since I have been experienceng some cramping and sore bbs...Its great to know that we are not along out there other woman going through what we are going through :-)
HUGGGSSSS
