i got my hair chopped and colored too, i should post some pics but i feel like i don't take good pictures. maybe i'll take a pic of abby and i she alwasy makes me look better

Poppy is awful sleeping in the day almost having proper tantrums because she is overtired but i shouldnt complain at she is sleeping well at night *touch wood* !

I don't know if it's the later bedtime or what but Isis slept until 3:30 this morning! Then slept until 6. I feel great today!
We had a great trip to Des Moines. I had Isis in cloth diapers for the trip. I'm getting more confident in using them when we're out. I think we'll be able to do it on the plane too.
We ended up buying the Ergobaby performance carrier in green. I tried it on in the shop and the owner of the store had me carry her 5 yo son in it so I could see how I like it for a larger child. It wasn't bad at all. We went to a couple stores after we bought it and DH wore Isis for the first time in it. He would never wear her with the wrap. Made me so happy to see him carrying her in the store. It was so cute!
We also bought a high chair/booster seat for Isis. I'm excited to have her sitting at the table with us and not on my lap!

Tasha, I love your new cut too! Those were cute pictures!

Sazzle, I had a blocked duct but it resolved itself after a couple days. It was very painful when feeding. I hope it resolves soon!

Sazzle I felt achy and clammy/hot with mastitis, but definitely had the red patch first. My breast was hard where the milk wasn't emptying and the latching on also killed! Keep doing what you're doing and if things get worse over the weekend, get yourself on antis. But it does sound like a blocked duct which is Progressing to mastitis. Massaging it in the shower may help too. Sorry if you have tried all this already!

Well, this morning my boob isn't nearly as red, sore or lumpy so hoping I got it out in time. Still tender but feels more bruised now. Thanks for all the advice girls! Can always rely on you lot! x

I had 2 barcardi breezers last night and began to feel tipsy I used to be able to drink bucket loads but apparently I cant anymore haha!

This weekend last year, I found out I was pregnant.
While drunk. lol!
It was a dare to do a pregnancy test, so I did. And well lets just say the results werent fully expected!
That was on the Friday. It took me till the Sunday to grow some balls and tell my parents haha. (note: I didnt actually grow any balls... Just a metaphor! )

I've been having headaches off and on for the past few weeks and they're driving me mad. Tylenol helps for a bit but bit for long. Had this a few years ago and took months to go away. Never figured out exactly what made them go. Guess it's time for eye dr and reg dr even though they were no help last time. Uggg

On a positive note little one slept great last night. Nursed her to sleep a bit after midnight (we were out at a dinner and that's when we got home) she woke just before 6 for a quick snack and again at 8:30 and she just fell back asleep. This is the baby I remember!

you girls are too funny Dana and Gem!

Cottles, we have a dog. We got her almost 2 years ago as a rescue. She's about 4 years old. When DH is around it isn't much extra trouble to take care of the dog. She's a great companion too! She's a black lab mix so she loves to play fetch so that takes time. When DH is out of town it's a little harder because I have to care for 3 of us. Mostly it's because Isis is so little. I think as she gets older it'll be easier to care for Isis and the dog. Isis thinks the dog is funny and I can't wait until she gets older and can play with the dog too.

Sazzle, glad to hear you're feeling better. That's how mine felt as it got better too.

Bernina, Sorry about the headaches. I hate headaches! Glad Lizzie slept for you! Isis went back to 3 night feeds last night.

Looks like Isis and Lizzie switched places last night!

About the cloth diapers, I actually miss using mine. Still trying to finish the size 1 sposies and I swear they just keep multiplying!! I feel confident using the BG 4.0s outside of the house and have on a few occasions. Still haven't used the flips quite enough to trust them. I think we're down to about a weeks worth of sposies so hopefully soon!!

Oh and forgot to mention that we have 2 dogs. One is about 7 and she is protective of the baby but not so interested in her. She's 70lbs and a Labrador pit bull mix. The other is out puppy. She is almost 2 and has been in love with Rosie from the second they met. She sometimes gets really close (feeling with her paws) to the baby to lay down near her but makes sir she doesn't actually get on her. Super cute. She's right there if Rosie cries and loves to put her ace close enough to have Rosie pat her. She's about 60-65lbs and is?McNabb (herding dog) and pit bull mix. We got her from the only kill shelter in the county. She's my other baby lol.

Don't forget to check diaper bags for more size 1's. I forgot to check there when going from N to 1's and found several more that needed to be used.
Have you tried cloth wipes? I love them! I'm trying to figure out how I can bring them to Oregon with us

We took her out yesterday in the Thirsties wrap. She pooped through that. would have been a disaster if she was in disposables and then we switched to pockets. Worked perfectly!

I hate having to use disposables too! We just bought more yesterday to use up some coupons. They're so expensive!
