April Mummies 2011

you have yours in their own room? I'm very tempted tbh as she's SUCH a noisy sleeper!

happy birthday loopey!

gorgeous pics girls!

i still feed alex when he wakes too, but think we're heading into a sunny spell lately as he's been fab to be around and sleeping quite well too! was only up once last night! shame it can't be like this all the time! xx

Yeah George went into his own room last week when we got back from our holiday. He is a good sleeper most of the time but he is also noisy and bangs his feet in the night and chatters away to himself but then goes back to sleep, but that was keeping me awake so moving him into his own room was a good idea

Thanks for the advice - I have been getting up and putting the dummy back in only because he has slept through a few times so I know he does not need a feed obviously if he keeps moaning I feed him. Daniel has been in his own since he was 4 weeks as he hated his moses basket and I felt to scared for him to keep sleeping in our bed.

Hi Girls!

Just wanted to pop past and let you know that finally, after a very tough year, i have had my baby!

Riley was born 2 weeks early on the 27th August 2011, 8lb 3 oz and is perfect

xx

Thanks Lilly, sounds like a great deal!!

Happy birthday Loopy!!! Doing anything special? :cake:

Because it was a bank holiday yesterday I've had a two day birthday :happydance: My OH cooked me breakfast and dinner plus baked a cake. Today I got my cards, present and of course ate the cake! I'm one lucky lady :cloud9:

Congratulations jeffsar! Hope to see some lovely pics of riley soon x

I can't wait to get Rosie in her own room!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Jeffsar.

Congrats Jeffsar!

We are cosleeping , and will be until she's ready to go into her own bed.
Which will probably be a long time, but me and my husband both don't mind, so it's fine with us!
We're all getting way more sleep like this, and she's been sleeping 9 hour nights with none or 1 awakening, :yipee:

We've had Isis in her own room since we got home from the hospital. She makes too much noise in her sleep! At the hospital I had to send her to the nursery so I could get a couple hours of sleep!

The island is so beautiful! We just went to the closest town and walked on the docks. We saw a 85' yacht for sale - only 5 million! :haha: I texted DH and told him that I bought it :haha: We're going to try to go sailing while we here. We also might go to another island to explore. My family let me sleep in the master suite with Isis and it is plush! I'm trying to figure out a way to stay here forever :haha:

Congratulations Jeffsar, sooo happy for you!!! Pictures please!!

Lizzie is still in our room. I put her to sleep in the pack n play and she does fine. Then when she wakes for her nightly feed I drag her into bed and feed her and usually fall asleep while doing it so just leave her in with us. I'm sure she'd be fine if I put her back in pack n play but I'm lazy and do enjoy snuggling with her. I have a feeling this child will skip the crib and go straight to a regular bed of her own. The crib mattress is so firm you could bounce a quarter off it, she much prefers our pillow top mattress and I cant say I blame her!!

Danielle, glad you're having a great time on vacation, the area is so beautiful!

Loopy, sounds like a fabulous birthday and a bank holiday to boot!! We have a three day weekend (4 for me since I don't work Fridays) this coming weekend, will be a nice treat!!

Congrats Jeffsar! So happy to hear you've got your little bundle in your arms!

I got all emotional this morning  I've been sorting out Rex's room & have packed away all his newborn & 0-3 clothes plus his Moses basket, baby bath & left over size 1 & 2 nappies. They're all just waiting to go up in the loft now. He's growing up so fast  Makes me want another one already! But I know I couldn't cope just yet!

congrats jeffstar!

sazzle, totally know the feeling!

wow i just realised, babies are due in april 2012 already and their mummies are like 7ish wks pregnant!! woah, crazy!!

congrats jeffsar! :)

i wont dare put ollie in his own bed till he gets a diagnosis. i need to be close to him to keep checking on him lol.
i havent seen him since sunday :( miss him so much!

im still in hospital... getting worse. yet theyre on about sending me home :/ ive been on morphine the past few days. and didnt eat for about 2 or 3 days because ive been vomiting black and dark green stuff!

:hugs: Gem. Unbelievably frustrating just to hear about the lack of treatment and diagnosis you're receiving. Do you have any family or friends in the medical community that could be an advocate for you?

Saying lots of prayers and sending good vibes your way. xoxo

Caro - I noticed the April 2012 mummies thread the other day too. Scary to think how we all felt this time last year!

Gem - I can't believe they're going to send you home when they don't even know what's up with you! Refuse to be discharged!

My baby is sick :(
She is stuffy and has a temp!

My husband gave his cold to her grrr.
Gave her some Tylenol and hoping her temp will drop, else we gotta go to a doctor.

Sazzle I was also packing some of George's newborn and 0-3 clothes away yesterday and felt sad looking at all the tiny newborn clothes. They are all in immaculate condition too.

Gem get well soon. I bet you are missing Ollie so much.

Aww lilly hope your LO will be better soon.

Well I went to the doctors today to get the pill as thought it was about time I did something about protection. I was 3 days late whilst I was on holiday and I was crapping my pants. I want to enjoy George first and if I was pregnant I wouldn't be able to as much because of the tiredness and sickness. Plus I don't want another baby yet. Unless I was mega rich and had a live in nanny then I would love another now :)
