April Mummies 2011

alex is still just about wearing 3-6 month clothes but some/most of his trousers are like shorts :haha:, but sleepsuit wise he's mostly in 6-9month now too. I decided to skip a size with his vests and he's wearing 9-12, they're a bit wide but not really too long .

We started proper swimming lessons this morning, such good fun! :)

I noticed their weight ranges seemed off. We don't have too much Gerber stuff just some handed down onesies but she's wearing the medium ones.

george is still in 0-3 month clothes! but I think he is the youngest LO just funny cos he started off so big!

Sorry some of you are having such a tough time, hugs to you all

Tash I cant wait to see the pics of your new transport!!!!

Caro I am oleased swimming is going well

Crazy sorry to hear your George is still under the weather, hugs from my George....

ALTHOUGH......my George is covered in spots, went to the doctor yesterday they think it is foliculitits although I am not entirely convinced as this normally affects teens/adults! However they are more likely to get it if they have eczema and George does on his head which is where the worst of the spots are. Poor lillte fella it looks horrible :( we have some cream to put on twice a day so fingers crossed, I just hope it doesnt scar him xx

Heehee i think toby might be a titch? He was a march baby in the end and he can still fit into most of his 0-3 clothes. Only a few vests seem a bit snug!

Jen, I've had foliculitis. It's painful! I get it sometimes from hot tubs. I'm just sensitive to it I guess because no one else in my DH's family gets it just me. I hope it goes away quickly for him! He shouldn't scar if its foliculitis. Also babies have amazing skin! Isis scratches herself almost daily and it heals in 2 days as if it was never there.

This morning Isis woke up at 7:30. Usually we all get up when that happens but DH just put his pillow over his head so Isis and I left the bedroom. It sucks though because it's really cold out here! It's 10C outside! Well it's definitely fall. I just checked, it's 64F inside the house!

Isis has got to get her sleeping sorted out! I'm going to lose my mind! Last night she would only settle on our bed so that's where she slept - all night. I'm going to buy a bed guard today while we in town so I can let her sleep a little ways from me in bed. Usually I cuddle her but on vacation I had her sleep a little ways from me and we both slept better I think.

abby fits most of her 0-3 stuff too, just her sleepers are too tight length wise. i do like the "baggy" of the 3-6 tho, so we've been mostly putting her in that.

anyone else's baby "gasping" or "wheezing"? she doesn't do it all the time, just seems to be when she wants attention.

Thankyou for the hugs from your George to mine :) he is a lot better now, his head doesn't look so scabby and he's sleeping better again. Hope your George is ok, poor thing.

Dana my LO doesn't gasp or wheeze. Maybe that's her way to get your attention. Maybe get it checked out if it worries you.

George still wears 0-3 months t shirts and short dungarees but trousers are to short so he wears 3-6 months and all his vests and babygro's are 3-6 months.

Cheese hope isis sleeps better soon. I can never make up my mind if George is a good sleeper or not, last night he went to bed at 7.30 and we all got up at 9.30am but he still wakes up twice in the night for a feed. Sometimes he will only feed once but he usually wakes at 11 and 4.

Just call me fertile mertile! Yeesh! I just finished my period 5/6 days ago and just started again today. FML. I hate this. Didn't see it coming (although I should have really- down there was telling me it was coming yesterday). Now I need to go buy ANOTHER box of pads. ;piaohrgiorerjkngkjn

i'm getting mine every couple weeks too, thought it'd be back to regular by now..

Dana, Amelia used to do the gasping, almost like if a gust of wind blew in her face, she would gasp. she did it for a fair few weeks, then I can't remember when exactly, but it stopped. But if it seems to be with every breath then maybe get her seen. See how she is the next few days, then maybe a phonecall to your doctor If concerned?

his spots are rapidly increasing!!! he doesnt seem too bothered though, have given him calpol before bed to be kind!
I am back on the OCP so know exactly when AF is gonna arrive

is on birth control and AF is still all over the place

went jeans shopping...BIG mistake.

poor George Jen, hope the cream works for him soon!

Dana, agree with the others if your worried about her breathing a quick check up can't hurt!

well we've had quite a good day considering visited the mil :haha:, but its meant alex#s naps have gone all haywire cos he got car induced naps then wouldn't nap when out cos there was too much going on :dohh:, so he's only just gone to bed just before 10pm! the little monkey has wasted 3oz of my milk too as he wouldn't take the bottle which i expressed as was seeing some of mil's extended family and needed milk to make up his dinner with, ah well!

on the plus side we're now managing 2 'meals' a day. He often doesn't eat it all but i'm not making a fuss over that, atm its more about tasting things and enjoying being introduced to new flavours and stuff. He LOVED having his first chip at dinner today though, hehe (unsalted of course!). He managed nearly the whole thing after already feeding off me, then having swede with more milk, piggy!

:hugs: Dana.

a little hint, don't go anywhere near old belts! I went back to my belt drawer yesterday and most of them barely even do up , whereas they used to easily! I reckon having a baby actually widens your hips via the bones, not just added flab though!

I agree on the changing shape, Caro! My weight's always fluctuated so have a wide variety of sized trousers in my wardrobe & can't even do up my 'fat' jeans, despite being the same weight now after losing 12lb that I was when I bought them a few years back. My hips, stomach & thighs are all def bigger! It's a good thing our LOs are worth it!

totally is! kinda depressing though when your belt barely does up on the last notch and it used to have a fair bit of room left for adjustment on 'fat days'. To be fair I'm still a little heavier than I used to be when I wore those belts but not that much! :dohh:

:hugs:

SO FRUSTRATING! I'm really avoiding clothes. I lost my favorite pair of jeans though. UGH!

Yes your hips do change after having a baby! since Jake I've never gone back to original size. I am slowly losing it but only cos I run around so bloody much.

Went fruit picking today so trying to eat much healthily!
