Dana, sorry that you weren't able to get the female dr that you wanted but hope the one that you'll be seeing turns out to be a great match for you. Honestly I think making the appointment is probably the hardest step, so now you just need to show up and go from there. Really hope this is what you need to get over this hump.
Danielle, so glad to hear that the cloth dipes are going well at her school. I'm using mostly microfiber but do have the organic cotton Flips inserts and those work well but don't keep her skin quite as dry, when I get my fleece scraps I'll probably throw one of those on top when she wears a Flip to keep her drier. I have a few Joey Bunz hemp doublers and they work well but I find I need a thin microfiber insert on top of it since they absorb very quickly and then the hemp locks the moisture in after that. Hemp just doesn't absorb fast enough on it's own to prevent leaks in my experience. I've heard good things about the Thirsties Hemp prefolds (people use them to stuff pockets with), I think you can get them on Amazon for a good price. About Isis getting frustrated since she's not mobile, have you tried a bumbo seat or propping her up on the couch or a recliner type chair? Lizzie gets so frustrated if she's not at eye level with the rest of us. We took her out to eat today and put her in the highchair and she LOVED it. I was surprised that she sat up the entire time on her own and didn't fall forward or backward one single time. She was so happy to be sitting like the grown ups.
I used to think I wouldn't use the TV as a distraction for Lizzie, but I quickly learned whatever gives me a few free moments is worth it's weight in gold. A happy mamma makes for a happy baby!
Jakes that sounds like great fun at the gymnasium, that's so nice they do that for the little ones. Lizzie has done that before when I accidentally hold her in the feeding position or get her too close to my boobs, they know what they want!!
Cottleston, so sorry to hear how tired you've been. I had a few months where I was totally drained, brain constantly in a fog and a constant dull headache. Went to the dr and had all kinds of blood tests and of course everything came back normal. What helped for me was to take a small iron supplement daily in addition to what's in my prenatals (I'm still nursing). Even if you're not nursing it would probably help to take a multi vitamin that has some iron in it and make sure you're drinking and eating enough. It will get better though

I just looked at your weightloss blog and your'e doing great, you're well on your way to hitting your Christmas goal early!!
Amethyst, sorry that Gabe isn't sleeping so well. Lizzie definitely has nights like that but I couldn't imagine every night like that, you poor thing!! Where are you headed, I hope on a nice vacation! What a great DH you have, if I type that I'd like a cup of coffee maybe my husband will surprise me (ha!)
Big

gertrude. Any update on your Dad, what are the next steps for him? It's so frustrating when the men can't be a bit more proactive about things, but I really think very few of them are wired that way. Doesn't make it fair though.
Hope those with car issues are able to get them sorted soon (and for not too dear of a price!)
Gem, hope that Ollie has settled for you and is a much more smiley and happy baby for you tomorrow. Never easy to see them like that and just drains all the energy from you.
Crazy, I'm sorry to hear about his reaction to the other cream, really hope they're able to clear it up for you soon. Poor George.
Lizzie woke up a bunch of times last night so I'm pretty drained as well. Luckily have tomorrow off so I hope she lets us sleep in a bit. I think she's getting hungry more often and my milk isn't keeping up with her. I've been drinking the nursing tea and it helps but it brings back my headaches and foggy feeling and I sooo don't want to go there again. I think it's partially hormonal (the other part the iron seemed to fix) so when I ramp up milk production it must ramp up the same hormones that cause my problems. Urgh!!
