Sazzle, I would too! Even though Isis had been "STTN" her hours were off from mine so I never got more than 5 hours uninterrupted sleep. We visited my IL's this past weekend and I had the same napping scenario. I would have given anything for a swing!

Poor thing has her first cold. her nose is congested and she been coughing, although I think that's because she's having to switch to mouth breathing, not a real cough.

God I'm such an idiot! Just checked my diary to double check appointment time for Rex's jabs & they're next Wed. Not today! I blame the sleep deprivation!

Amethyst I hear you on the 12 week growth spurt - I feel liek a Dairy cow at the mo and Amelia WAS going 10 hours at night, but has been waking to feed ...argh!

To top it off, as she was going through the night and I wasn't pumping, I now have Mastitis......OWWWWWWWW!!!

My right breast is slightly red, sore and I have a fever..clammy and sweaty one moment then chills the next. I am on antibiotics but I think I caught it early, so hopefully won;t progress any further.

Ithought I got far enough to be past these problems. But they can creep up on you like this!

Same here, he was doing 10 hours at a time. Comes as quite a shock to be back on lots of night feeds again

Oh hun! Poor you! Flannels as hot as you can take them across your boobs and let the milk drain away quickly. Such relief!

Thanks ladies!! I feel better today in the sense that I don't feel achey etc the redness isn't as bad either so I guess I was lucky in the sense that I knew the signs and to get tested quickly. Also your advice has helped tons!!!

Amelia won't nap on me as she constantly smells milk and wants boob to send her off to sleep. Well it'll be a battle tonight for dean as he's got the job of settling her as I'm off to the cinema! Can't wait! The simple things seem so fun now lol! Seeing Bridesmaids with my sister and going to stuff my face with popcorn!

Tobys been like the perfect baby this week. Hardly cried during the day, took his naps when he's supposed to and he's got really into playtime with mummy... He's getting more giggly it's so cute!
This afternoon I had a duvet on the floor to play on. We wore each other out, cuddled up and both napped for almost 2 hours, in the middle of the living room floor

She hasn't napped today, so she was inconsolable this afternoon no matter what we did

so she's gone to bed at 5.30

Its great!, hard going at times but worth it. Just finding it a bit difficult at the mo getting out cuz ive only got a double buggy and Jaimee starts school in Sept so lots of induction appts to go to xx

Well I"m going to see my cousin tomorrow. I talked to her last night and she was saying it was OK to come visit then said she hopes Idon't think she's an asshole but please don't bring Rosie. I wouldn't imagine it!! Hope it goes well tomorrow. Plus I'm looking forward to an hour or 2 away as I've pretty much had rosie all on my own for the last week.
