***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

Hey Newbies  (says the girl who only just got here herself!!)

How's everyone doing? I must say, I am struggling a great deal more than I did with my last pregnancy. I am getting SOOooo tired now, and by mid-afternoon am suffering from all sorts of aches and pains and general discomfort. My belly is as big now as it ever got with Freya too, so I dread to think how huge I'm going to end up.

Hows everyone finding reading all the birth stories? its making me really excited and cant wait for some of us girlies to start introducing our little ones when they're all big enough to come into the world!

I love reading the birth stories, I still cant believe I am over here though. So exciting though. x

Hi ladies. I've actually become rather depressed since joining 3rd tri this week. Yes it's all very exciting reading the birth stories.. but I've become really impatient now and wish it was April already. :( Weird cuz I've been quite happily bimbling along in my pregnancy. Now I'm just plain frustrated. I hope it passes soon. I can't spend the next 12 weeks feeling like this. :( :(

Awww hun :hugs: Sending you hugs. I can kind of understand how you feel but what I have done is told myself I have lots of lovely milestones to look forward too. For example, I have been taking each week as it comes but 30 weeks is a big milestone for me, and then seeing actually body parts stick out my belly :haha:, and then doing the nursery, and then seeing the midwife every couple of weeks e.t.c Washing the baby clothes, ironing it, & putting it away. This all might sound a bit wierd but when you think about it, there is so much left to do, and then you realise if you will have enough time to fit it all in :dohh: I hope this helps a bit in a strange Mon way? x x x

Ah Saffy, did you not think the first 12 weeks went so slow but the last 12 have gone really quick. Don't worry, it will be here before you know it!
Like eternalrose says, you must have loads of jobs to get your teeth into?

Thanks Mon... you're right. :) I have my midwife appointment next week (I haven't seen her since I was 16 weeks!!).. so I'm looking forward to that and hoping that my app's will go down to every couple of weeks as I'm a bit annoyed with the lack of care in this pregnancy. I DO have lots left to do so can slowly start getting on with things. I think what's made me even more low is that my OH has gone back to work this week after having 5 weeks at home. He's a builder so was off from just before Xmas with all the snow. I got kinda used to having him around and I'm a bit lonely now and the days seem to go soooooooo slow. I want something to keep me busy when my 4 year old is at nursery to pass the time away. Knitting, cross stitch maybe? I dunno. Doesn't help with the lack of sleep at the min also. My sleeping pattern is awful. I'm having bad dreams all night and baby is constantly kicking my bladder. Anyway.. enough of the moaning.. roll on April!! At least I can take some comfort in knowing that all us April ladies are in it together. :hugs: xxxxxxxxxxx

all 200+ of us are in it together. So many babies to be born in April - it's amazing.

Had a dream last night a whole arm appeared to stick 5" out of my belly. Loved it. Was a bit weird though

 weird!

Mine are just plain bizarre. Last night I dreamt I was being chased by a giant squid in an earthquake! These hormones do funny things to your mind. lol
