~* April SweetPea's 2013 babies *~ 50 so far! 2 Blue 3 angels

I think you're different shaped than with Moo. You were all out front with him - your bump looks more evenly spread this time. But mothers intuition is usually right! xx

Can I join please? Am due April 22!

Hey Kintenda  we have the same due date :happydance: how are you feeling? :hugs:

Yay, hello and congratulations to you! I am feeling pretty good :) had some morning sickness but it seems to have gone now, just having the occasional niggle (low left and right sides and in lower abdomen) but can't complain! Every twinge is fascinating, haha! How are you feeling? X

Is it just me or do you girls feel more excited now that we are in the second tri (or very nearly there for those later in the month)?? I was almost scared to post in first tri and the first tri board frightened me a bit, just wanted the first bit to be done and dusted! I just feel so happy knowing that my fighting baby is growing so quickly and I feel amazed by it all. My mum is a midwife so we are listening in to baby's heartbeat often, it's amazing! Enjoying my body changing shape, my boobs aren't sore anymore (yay!), no sickness and the bleeding that I had earlier in pregnancy has disappeared from the scan now (touch wood for no more) - everything just feels awesome right now :)

Do you know what? Pretty much don't know anything personal about each other! :dohh:
You're sharing such intimate preggo stories and don't know proper names, ages, where live, ttc story...
I'm not preggo but was bump buddies with Becy first time round. Can't help but stalk her progress - curbs my own broodiness :haha:
But yeah - I'm Soph, 21 from Peterborough UK, Level 3 Teaching Assistant (but currently unemployed til DD turns 3) engaged to Pete with 1 DD & 4

I'll answer any questions from anyone, whether advise for first time mummies or advice on... I dunno - a recipe? :haha: You get the jist - anything! Lol.

xx

Im Becy
Im 20 (21 3rd december)

nothing too interested

I think 1st tri is abit scary because alot post about things
that scare others or worry others .. thats why i stuck to
pregnant after a loss because i didn't feel as bad there and feelt
abit better.. but if i didn't have a loss i would of avoided 1st tri
alot.. with DS i was in teen section all the time so i never bothered
in anywhere else  But its alot better in 2nd except that most
are further along and going into 3rd tri so you feel lost well i do anyway..
i tend to stick to groups im in where the ladies are simler stage as me

Thats amazing your mum is a midwife! bet its so nice to be able
to hear babys heartbeat whenever you like! Its common for things
to settle down in 2nd tri but not always but my sickness went alot
at 12/13 weeks and im so glad it has  im still sick some mornings
but not every but it beats having nausea all day long! I had bleeding
at around 12 weeks they found a haemorrhage but its slowly going now
by the looks and i haven't bled since so thats good! hope its stays that
way for you too!

Becy you gets your CVS results tomorrow don't you babe? xx

Yeah .. hopefully but it could be friday i just have to wait and see
it should be tomorrow though xx

Not impressed i wrote that out once and my internet
is being dodgy unless its Bnb .. but i had to go back and re type
it all :growlmad:

That happens to me when I'm on my phone... which is most the time :dohh:

I've got everything crossed that Heffalump doesn't have DS babe. Not that I'll love them any less if they do :cloud9: xx

I think either my Bnb is playing up or its my laptop
because it keeps not showing tickers aswell.. and not loading
:nope:

I should maybe come off anyway for abit i need to go post office
and stuff :dohh:!!! keep putting it off

My results are normal..
didn't expect them this quick if im honest but there we go
didn't say much think she said results wee 46.. but i might of mis heard
her i was walking to the post office as she rang :nope: which is typical and
i had a toddler to control.. she only told me i should be taking it easy lol..
but im in no pain at all.. and i need to do things tbh...

But she couldn't tell me the gender :( i know its not the main thing but
as my results were normal.. i asked anyway as it would of been nice and
everyone told me you can know  even my leaflets say it too.. but
she told me i can't until 2-3 weeks time when i get a letter and then id have
to phone and ask! :( sucks but oh well

What a relief, bet you are chuffed! Shame that you didn't get to know the gender but what good news about your baby! :flower:

Oh Bec I'm so happy for you! :hugs:
I knew Heffalump would be okay :happydance:
What did Ernie say?

Like a went numpty just went "YES!!" with the whole clenched fist motion when I read that  :haha:

2-3 weeks puts you at 16/17 weeks preggo which is still sooner than 20 week scan :) and not to mention its free! Saves you going and spending money that you haven't really got. xx

i said before it was a bonus to know the gender though i had
a feeling they wouldn't tell me this early.. but others told me they
can tell you so i asked anyway .. but anyway least its good news!

Just said hes happy really..

 what you like!
i had a feeling they couldn't tell me this soon! .. but yeah
it is sooner then 20 week but i guess you only get to know the
answer some want to see the baby aswell.. im not as bothered
i didn't with mason so i could wait but not sure atm if having a scan
anyway might just save money now really x

So do you think you'll call them to confirm the gender when you receive your letter? xx

Most likely miswell if i want to know really be mid november i assume
but saying i got my results within 1 day when they told me it might
be friday at the latest.. might get this letter sooner but i think they
grow the cells for the other results  so it might take that
amount of time.. and i assume they would want you to wait till
16/17 weeks.. but then again i don't understand why it matters if
they have samples surely they would all confirm the same sex
